Superman landed amidst a barrage of bullets, the rounds bouncing off him harmlessly. He glanced down at the soldiers, shaking his head in frustration as he slowly walked towards the crater where Su Sheng had fallen. "Step aside; your attacks are useless against me."

Soon enough, the soldiers ran out of bullets. Some retreated in fear, while others took desperate swings at him.
Superman's expression didn't change, but one soldier's fist crumpled against his face, bending awkwardly.
"Ah..." The soldier staggered back, screaming in pain as he clutched his broken wrist.
Boom!
With a loud crash, the building they were fighting near finally gave way and collapsed.
Superman turned his head, frowning slightly, but then he heard the sound of rushing wind. Instinctively, he tilted his head just as Su Sheng appeared beside him, swinging a fist.
"Are you also a Kryptonian? Are you one of my people?" Superman dodged the punch, ready to ask more questions, but suddenly, Su Sheng's fist accelerated.
Smack!
Su Sheng slapped Superman hard across the face. The force was unlike anything Superman had ever felt; it sent him flying backwards. Before he could recover, he felt a sharp tug on his cape, and then he was yanked into the air.
Boom!
Su Sheng swung Superman by the cape and slammed him into the ground, creating a deep crater.
"I never understood why a hero would wear a cape, but now I get it—it's perfect for smashing your enemies!" Su Sheng chuckled as he continued to swing Superman left and right, slamming him repeatedly into the ground.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The surrounding soldiers watched in stunned silence. Just moments ago, their attacks had been like toys to Superman, but now Superman himself was being tossed around like a rag doll.
The reversal was too abrupt to comprehend.
After one final slam, Su Sheng glanced down at the battered Superman. The first shield of the Justice League wasn't just a title for show.
Boom!
Su Sheng slammed Superman into the ground one last time before letting go of the cape. He flipped Superman over with his foot and asked with grave seriousness, "Are you wearing red underwear?"
Superman coughed, staring at Su Sheng in disbelief. Why was this guy so obsessed with the red underwear? "Listen, I don't want to fight you. I just want to know if you're Kryptonian, if you're my—"
Boom!
Su Sheng's eyes flared red, and beams of heat vision blasted Superman's face. Superman turned his head, raising his hands to block the rays, slowly trying to push them back.
Unlimited stacking, double!
The heat vision suddenly intensified, pushing Superman's hands back toward his face, making it impossible to deflect the beams.
Superman grew angry.
His muscles tensed as if they were about to burst through his suit. He focused all his strength, and his eyes turned red as he prepared to unleash his own heat vision at Su Sheng.
At that moment, Su Sheng raised a finger.
Zizizi!
Blue electric currents shot through Superman, causing him to groan as his accumulated strength dissipated.
"No red underwear, huh?"
"No red underwear, huh?"
Su Sheng taunted Superman loudly while maintaining the heat vision assault.
"Not talking, huh? I'll see how long you can keep that up!"
The electric current continued to surge through Superman, causing him to shudder and spasm.
"Are you wearing red underwear?!"
"Are you wearing red underwear?!"
Su Sheng repeated the question over and over. If Superman's mouth weren't blocked by his own hand, he would have cursed at Su Sheng. He desperately wanted to answer but couldn't—how could he when his hand was in the way? His eyes blazed with anger, focusing on trying to release his own heat vision, but Su Sheng seemed to toy with him.
Just when Superman could almost tolerate the pain, Su Sheng would increase the intensity of the electric shocks.
"Are you wearing red underwear?" Su Sheng asked again.
"Um... he seems to be unable to speak," a soldier nearby said timidly.
Su Sheng turned his head towards the soldier, and the heat vision swept over, hitting the soldier directly.
Boom!
The soldier was flung back, and when he hit the ground, his body emanated a thick, burnt smell.
"You talk too much," Su Sheng muttered. Just as he was about to redirect his focus back to Superman, the latter seized the opportunity to soar into the air.
Su Sheng ceased his heat vision and looked up at Superman.
"Well, if you want to fight, then I'll get serious," Superman said, his chiseled face set in a determined expression. He was done holding back.
Whether or not this guy was a fellow Kryptonian, he had had enough.
If it's a fight you want, then I'll fight you!
Superman took a deep breath, locking eyes with Su Sheng. His fists clenched, and with a sonic boom echoing behind him, he rocketed towards Su Sheng like a missile.
His speed was astonishing, with hot air swirling around his body.
In the blink of an eye, he was nearly upon Su Sheng.
"Finally getting serious, huh?" Su Sheng muttered as he waved his hand, opening a wormhole in front of him using his shockwave ability. In an instant, Superman was sucked into the wormhole and reappeared above a skyscraper behind Su Sheng, crashing through the building before he could react.
Bang bang bang!
Superman's figure crashed through the roof, causing explosions to ripple through the structure. The entire building began to collapse.
"Run! Run!"
Not far below, the soldiers standing by saw the building tilting and collapsing. In an instant, they scattered in panic.
Boom!
The building hit the ground with a deafening crash, sending up clouds of dust and debris.
"This is getting out of hand," Amanda Waller muttered to herself in frustration. She had evacuated an entire block, but now two or three blocks had been affected. Several buildings had collapsed, and the situation was spiraling out of control.
This was beyond her ability to manage.
Boom!
Superman burst out of the rubble, charging towards Su Sheng with a serious expression.
This time, he was cautious, keeping a close watch on Su Sheng to avoid another ambush.
He closed the distance rapidly, but just as he was about to reach Su Sheng, everything seemed to go dark, and his movements slowed to a crawl.
"I said, I've had enough!" Su Sheng shouted as he raised his fist and delivered a crushing blow to Superman.

Superman was slammed into the ground, his head buried deep in the earth, and he lay there motionless...
