Even though the explosion took place in a remote area, it didn't go unnoticed.
The Flash was the first to arrive at the scene.
There were no remnants left behind, and the method of the explosion was identical to that used by either Bomb Girl Betty or Su Sheng. Sisko managed to find satellite footage showing Su Sheng flying away in his steel battle suit, so... it was definitely Su Sheng!
After The Flash left, the police arrived. Barry Allen had to return as his civilian self to inform Joe that Su Sheng was responsible, saving the police from wasting time on an investigation.
As soon as the police left, another group arrived.
A low-profile team from A.R.G.U.S. conducted a thorough inspection. After reporting their findings, they carefully erased all traces before retreating, as if they were never there.
Back on the Discipleship...
Su Sheng reverted his battle suit back into a bracelet and inquired about the Speed Serum formula from Caitlin. He also asked her to make a batch of spares before sending Eliza Harmon back to S.T.A.R. Labs. The key ingredients for the serum were Vandal Savage's cells and Su Sheng's own Speed Force. Su Sheng monitored the cells for a while to ensure they wouldn't regenerate Vandal Savage before storing them securely. Caitlin's modifications had rendered the cells inert; they no longer belonged to Vandal Savage.
Cells were just cells now.
Su Sheng placed the Baton of the Sun God in his collection room. By the time he returned, Eliza had completed her task.
"This is nanoscale technology. All you need to do is coat the entire Discipleship with it. Once you're done, you're free!" Su Sheng handed over the formula and instructions to Eliza.
Eliza hesitated, wanting to ask about the serum. Although she knew the entire formula, without regenerative cells and Speed Force, the formula alone was useless. She was about to speak when the phone rang.
Su Sheng found his phone and answered it.
"It's Laurel, I..."
"Miss me?" Su Sheng asked with a teasing smile.
"Felicity is with me," Laurel whispered.
"Oh? So, you'd admit it if she wasn't there, huh?" Su Sheng teased further.
Laurel fell silent for a few seconds. "My mother contacted me. She said A.R.G.U.S. wants to see you. It seems they want to discuss something with you."
"Not interested."
A.R.G.U.S.? They didn't have anything of interest for him at the moment.
"They... they seem to have captured some of your people," Laurel added after a pause.
"Then let them kill them," Su Sheng replied dismissively before hanging up.
Laurel was stunned. She considered calling him back but ultimately decided against it. She turned to Felicity, shaking her head. "He's not interested. What now?"
"Forget it. He can deal with his own problems," Felicity said, a mix of frustration and resignation in her voice. "Let's keep searching for Huntress. She disappeared after killing Frank. We need to find her quickly."
"Is Catwoman still in town?" Laurel asked.
"She got what she wanted, but it seems like she made two new friends in Gotham. She might come back later," Felicity replied.
"Time to get to work." Su Sheng pocketed his phone and gave Eliza her orders before leaving the Discipleship. Outside the villa, Laura was teaching Thea some fighting techniques. Both were dressed in shorts and vests, their long, toned legs gleaming in the light.
As Su Sheng approached, the two women immediately stopped.
"Go find someone. Her name is Black Siren. She wears a black leather jacket and has a nose ring. Bring her to me as soon as you find her," Su Sheng instructed Laura.
"Right now?"
"Now!"
Laura nodded and left promptly. A short while later, the red-gold women's steel battle suit flew out of the villa.
Thea Quinn watched Laura fly away, envy evident in her eyes. She took Su Sheng's arm and said playfully, "Make one for me too. It's too hard for me to beat Laura."
"That's what makes it fun," Su Sheng chuckled, unmoved.
"That's not fair!" Thea protested.
"Fairness is God's concern. I'm only here for the fun!" Su Sheng patted Thea's backside and walked back into the villa.
Thea pouted, but she followed him inside.
After a shower, Thea changed into a dress and lazily sprawled on the sofa, her head resting on a cushion. Her bare feet dangled over Su Sheng's legs, drawing his attention.
Su Sheng glanced at her with a knowing smile but remained silent, curious to see what she was up to. Thea seemed nonchalant, yet her feet teasingly brushed against him.
"It's so boring. I want to take my 'medicine,'" Thea whispered suddenly.
"Then take it," Su Sheng replied, still relaxed on the sofa.
Thea suddenly flipped over, straddling Su Sheng, her eyes blazing with intensity. "You are my medicine."
"Then take it," Su Sheng repeated, his tone unchanged.
"Hmph!" Thea snorted before slowly sliding down.
Once she took her 'medicine,' Thea lost control, becoming wild and frenzied. The sofa turned into a battlefield, and the war raged on.
After a long time...
Thea lay sprawled on the sofa, completely drained. She squinted her eyes and said to Su Sheng in a lazy, seductive voice, "Can you make my battle suit now? I promise I won't wear it until I beat Laura!"
"You're so beautiful," Su Sheng said softly, looking at Thea.
Thea smiled sweetly. "Really? What part?"
"All of you," Su Sheng chuckled, patting her leg.
Thea, expecting more praise, instantly pouted in frustration. She was about to argue when the door opened, and Laura walked in with a woman in tow. Laura's battle suit retracted into a bracelet as she approached Su Sheng, ignoring the chaos in the room. "I've brought her back."
"Laurel? What happened to you?"
Thea instinctively wanted to get up and fix herself, but as soon as she looked up, she recognized Laurel Lance.
Laurel was dressed in black leather, with a neckband and a silver nose ring.
This punk-rock version of Laurel was a far cry from the Laurel Lance Thea knew.
"You know me?" Black Siren asked, surprised by Thea's reaction.
