"Diana?" Riley exclaimed in surprise.
"It's number 3," Su Sheng remarked, jumping directly onto the pier.
Riley glanced at Laura before turning to Valentina. "Laura, stay on the ship. Valentina, let's go and help."
"Why? Where are we? I want to go back to the Soviet Union, back to my time!" Valentina shouted, but before she could react, Riley touched her, and they transformed into Firestorm once more.
Flames engulfed them as Firestorm rose up beside Su Sheng.
"Riley? How did you end up like this?" Diana, taken aback by Riley's fiery form, struggled to comprehend the scene unfolding before her.
"Pfft." Su Sheng suddenly laughed, drawing everyone's attention.
"Are you having a family reunion?" Su Sheng pointed at the two men and one woman standing with Diana. One man, rugged and holding a baby, stood with two women—one dressed casually in jeans, a T-shirt, and a plaid shirt, and the other, more refined, with blond hair and a pink tube top dress. "The demigod Lennox, right? And you," he pointed at the woman in the plaid shirt, "I don't remember your name, but you were trapped by that old rogue in Universe 590, right? You have a son named Zeke—that baby he's holding."
He turned to the refined woman. "Tsk tsk, here's the highlight. One of the twelve Olympian gods, Queen of Heaven Hera. You should have the highest status here. Didn't I once tell Eris to sleep with you? Remember that?"
Hera's face changed slightly.
Su Sheng then looked at the other side, where a man and a woman stood.
The man was at least two meters tall, muscular, and scarred, wearing primitive armor and a cloak, with a sword in hand. The woman, wearing a hooded coat, had a neck that seemed to be made of metal.
"The firstborn, Zeus and Hera's first child. There's a prophecy that you will step over the corpses of gods to sit on Zeus's throne. As for the woman beside you, Cassandra, she was originally a half-sister to Lennox, who tore her throat out. She lost her voice and now survives with a mechanical throat."
Su Sheng identified each of them one by one, then turned to Diana. "Why are you involved with them? Where's Donna?"
"Donna…" Diana glanced at Hera before replying solemnly, "Donna returned to Paradise Island after we parted ways, but Hera turned all the Amazons, including Donna, into snakes. She also turned my mother into a statue!"
"Then why didn't you kill her?" Su Sheng asked casually.
"I can't!" Diana shook her head. "Apollo, the sun god, took Zeus's throne and demoted Hera to a mortal. I need her help to restore my family."
"Can you…" Diana's expression brightened with hope as she looked at Su Sheng, but he simply pointed back at the Discipleship docked nearby, causing her face to fall.
"Enough!" Cassandra shouted angrily. "Give me my lovely brother!"
"Don't even think about it!" Diana replied firmly.
"Then we'll fight. Starting with him, I'll kill all of you and reclaim the throne that is rightfully mine!" The firstborn growled, stepping toward Lennox.
"I've been waiting for this moment," Lennox muttered, handing the child to the woman in the plaid shirt before cracking his knuckles and charging at the firstborn.
Boom!
The firstborn's fist struck Lennox's face, causing him to stagger. Just as Lennox was about to retaliate, a flash of cold steel crossed his neck.
Thud!
Lennox's head fell to the ground, and his body slowly turned to stone.
"Lennox!" Diana cried out, shocked by the firstborn's swift and brutal kill. Despite Lennox's lack of extraordinary powers, his body was as strong as stone. She hadn't expected him to be taken down so easily.
Diana's wrist braces suddenly glowed, summoning two swords as she charged at the firstborn with the force of a cannonball.
Clang! Clang!
The two engaged in a fierce battle.
"Is that an equipment upgrade? Hephaestus, the god of fire's handiwork?" Su Sheng mused, somewhat surprised, as he approached Hera. "How does it feel to be downgraded from a god to a mortal?"
"Not great!" Hera scoffed.
"You brought it on yourself!" the woman in the plaid shirt sneered.
"You lowly little bitch, what did you say?" Hera snapped.
"You're the bitch!"
The two women exchanged harsh words, and if not for the situation, they might have started fighting each other.
"This firstborn is incredibly strong. Shouldn't you help Diana?" Riley asked, eager to assist.
Helping Diana was one thing, but Riley also wanted to test her own abilities.
"You can go if you're not afraid of dying. This firstborn is probably the strongest of the old gods. There are hardly any Olympian gods stronger than him, including Zeus. Even the newer gods might have to kneel before him. He's a nameless god, the destroyer of souls. This guy is the true godslayer!" Su Sheng said, admiration evident in his tone.
Riley fell silent, but she mentally explained the situation to Valentina.
"How do you know all this?" Hera asked Su Sheng, surprised.
"I also know that if nothing unexpected happens, you'll regain your divine power," Su Sheng replied casually.
"What kind of accident?" Hera asked, suddenly nervous.
"My mood."
"Your… mood?" Hera stared at Su Sheng, wide-eyed. Seeing that he wasn't going to elaborate, she suppressed her anxiety and changed the subject. "Aren't you going to help Diana? After all, she is your woman."
"If I asked Diana to take a photo, would she agree?" Su Sheng asked Riley.
Riley hesitated before replying, "With her character, I doubt she would agree."
"Then let's wait," Su Sheng said nonchalantly.
