Thunder flickered, brimming with divine power.
Only Ares, the God of War, possesses such characteristics and the strength to knock Diana down with a single punch, leaving her unable to stand. This could explain why this mysterious figure suddenly appeared on Paradise Island, why he dared to act so recklessly, and how he knew about the Godkiller.
He's here to kill Diana!
Because Diana is the Godkiller, only she can kill Ares!
"No, I will never let you hurt Diana," Hippolyta shouted as she rose to her feet. She picked up a sword lying nearby and charged at Su Sheng.
Su Sheng casually glanced at her and flicked his fingers.
A blast of divine power laced with thunder struck Hippolyta, sending her crashing to the ground with a scream.
"Mother!" Diana roared in fury, clenching her fists as she crouched low. With a mighty leap, she lunged at Su Sheng once more. At the same time, Antiope, who had been knocked down earlier, picked up a sword and rushed at him from the opposite direction.
Crackling noises filled the air, growing louder and more intense.
"Tenfold stacking," Su Sheng muttered, his voice like a command to the forces within him. "Lie down obediently."
A blinding light burst from Su Sheng, so bright it dimmed the sun. Divine power and thunder radiated outward from him, shaking the very ground.
In an instant, Antiope and Diana were hurled through the air, crashing to the ground and losing consciousness.
The waves themselves seemed to retreat, creating massive surges that smashed into the shore. The nearby cliff crumbled instantly, but the shockwave didn't stop there—it swept further into the heart of Paradise Island. Smoke filled the sky as buildings collapsed, and the screams of the Amazons echoed in the distance.
It took a long time for the shock and devastation to subside. From a distance, it was clear that nearly a third of Paradise Island had been razed to the ground.
"It feels so good!" Su Sheng exclaimed, looking down at his hands, now glowing with divine power. The rush, the violent thrill of destruction—it was intoxicating. No wonder Hippolyta had been reluctant to reveal Diana's true identity. Power corrupts, and it was easy to understand why the old gods of Olympus had made such a mess of things. This intoxicating feeling was undoubtedly a factor.
After a few deep breaths, Su Sheng regained his clarity and composure.
He surveyed the flattened cliffs, the wrecked beach, and the Amazons lying unconscious on the ground. Su Sheng couldn't help but think that the so-called "legend's team" would definitely regret this when they returned. The time deviation caused by the Birds of Prey hadn't even been resolved, and now a larger deviation had been created. But what happened on the isolated Paradise Island might not affect the outside world—except, of course, for Steve Trevor leaving the island and Diana, the Wonder Woman, defeating Ares in the future.
Su Sheng found Diana, Antiope, and Hippolyta among the ruins of the beach. While Antiope was seriously injured, Diana and Hippolyta were just unconscious, with no major injuries. Of course, their armor had been shattered by the impact of the divine power, and in the traditional Amazon warrior style, the inside of their armor...
"This really is Paradise Island," Su Sheng muttered, recalling how Hercules had enslaved the Amazons in the comics instead of killing them all. His fingertips sparked with electricity, and the sparks turned into ropes that he used to bind the three of them. He then began dragging them deeper into Paradise Island.
As Su Sheng dragged the three most important figures on Paradise Island toward the Amazons' living quarters, he saw that half of the buildings had been destroyed by the divine shockwave.
"Who is that?"
"It's the queen!"
"And the General and Diana!"
The nearby Amazons quickly noticed Su Sheng and their fallen queen, general, and princess. Cries of alarm rang out—some were frozen in shock, while others rushed to rescue the queen and defeat the enemy. Su Sheng continued walking, not even altering his pace or direction. When the Amazons charged at him, several bursts of electricity and divine power erupted from his body.
Bang, bang, bang!
They fell one by one in Su Sheng's path, and he casually stepped over their bodies as he continued. Soon, he noticed a group of guards rushing toward him from a distance.
"Let them go!"
A female warrior, standing in front of the guards, shouted sharply.
"What's your name?" Su Sheng asked as he stopped in his tracks.
"Menalippe, Vice Admiral of Paradise Island."
"Go save your people. If you're lucky, some might survive. Try to stop me, and you'll doom your queen, your general, your entire tribe... including Paradise Island itself." Su Sheng stomped lightly on the ground.
Divine power surged forth.
From where Su Sheng stood, a crack snaked rapidly across the ground, spreading toward the Amazons.
The ground rumbled ominously as Menalippe struggled to steady herself. She frowned, her expression conflicted, as she watched Su Sheng continue toward the palace.
"Go help the others first," she ordered her fellow Amazons through gritted teeth.
