Chapter 51 - Chapter 51: Wonder Woman's First Appearance

No matter what he rides, the Amazons are not lenient towards intruders, especially those who dare to provoke their queen and refuse to be captured.

Before Hippolyta could give an order, the surrounding Amazons had already launched an attack on Su Sheng.

The Amazons were never afraid to fight.

A deadly rain of arrows poured down upon Su Sheng. In an instant, he bent over, using his left hand to support his body as he turned to the side. His right hand deftly caught several arrow feathers in mid-air. After landing, he used the League of Assassins' throwing techniques to hurl the arrows back at his attackers.

Thud, thud, thud.

Several Amazons charging with spears and daggers fell to the ground.

As soon as the strike succeeded, Su Sheng rushed forward, striking with the ferocity of a tiger descending the mountain.

Even though the Amazons were brave and strong, they were no match for Su Sheng, who had absorbed so much combat ability and experience. Even without his enhanced strength, they were no competition for him. One after another, they fell before him. Even Hippolyta, who angrily drew her sword, was swiftly overpowered.

With one hand holding her wrists behind her back, Su Sheng pressed his foot against Hippolyta's back, her own sword held threateningly against her neck.

"If you won't let me ride your horse, I'll just have to ride you," Su Sheng taunted. "Don't blame me; blame those who put me here. I warned them not to regret it, but now they've brought pain to Paradise Island and to you."

"You will pay for this. I promise," Hippolyta spat out, seething with anger.

"And who will make me pay? You? Diana, the Godkiller? Or perhaps the old thief Zeus? Surely not Ares, the God of War. He'd rather destroy Paradise Island himself," Su Sheng replied with a mocking smile.

"How... how do you know about this?" Hippolyta's expression shifted from anger to shock. The Godkiller—a weapon capable of slaying gods—was Paradise Island's secret weapon against Ares. While most believed the Godkiller to be a sword, only Hippolyta knew the truth: the Godkiller was her daughter, Diana.

Only a god can kill a god.

This man was not only powerful but also disturbingly knowledgeable about their most guarded secrets. He spoke of Zeus and Ares as if he knew them personally, without a trace of reverence.

Who was he?

"Queen!"

"Mother!"

Two voices called out in the distance as two riders approached on horseback. One was Antiope, the general of Paradise Island and Hippolyta's sister. Seeing the fallen warriors and her sister under the heel of the intruder, she fired an arrow at Su Sheng in a rage.

The other rider wore golden armor that left her shoulders exposed, with a skirt reaching her thighs. Her braided hair framed a face that was both exquisite and fierce. She was the Godkiller, the very Wonder Woman Su Sheng had just mentioned—Diana, one of the founding members of the Justice League.

"Interesting," Su Sheng murmured as he effortlessly deflected Antiope's arrow with a flick of the sword. The arrow split in half, each piece harmlessly flying past him.

With a smirk, Su Sheng suddenly sprang forward. In mid-air, he twisted his body, evading Antiope's charging horse and struck her with his sword, knocking her off the saddle. As he landed, he swung a powerful fist at Diana, who was charging toward him on her horse.

"Boom!"

His fist connected with the horse's head, which exploded from the sheer force of the punch. The horse reared up, throwing Diana to the ground.

Her tall, athletic frame skidded across the beach, coming to a halt beside Hippolyta.

"Mother, are you okay? Who is this man? Did Ares send him?" Diana asked anxiously as she tried to help her mother.

"I don't know," Hippolyta replied, shaking her head. She looked up just in time to see Antiope firing more arrows as she charged Su Sheng once more.

The Amazons' archery was different from the League of Assassins'. It emphasized power, precision, and honor. Even in her fury, Antiope's arrows flew true, but Su Sheng casually deflected them one by one with the sword he had taken from Hippolyta. When Antiope closed in, he shattered her bow with a single strike.

Thud!

Su Sheng swung the sword down, first cutting through the longbow, then following up with a powerful kick.

The force cracked Antiope's chest armor, sending her sprawling to the ground.

"Antiope!" Diana shouted, rushing toward the mentor who had taught her everything she knew about combat.

"Don't go!" Hippolyta tried to stop her, but could only watch as Diana leaped high into the air, aiming a powerful punch at Su Sheng.

Boom!

The beach trembled as Diana's fist connected with the ground where Su Sheng had been standing. But he had already retreated, and a glowing, golden fist suddenly appeared before her.

"Bang." Diana felt the world spin as the force of the blow sent her flying. She struggled to get up but finally collapsed back onto the sand.

It hurt. Everything hurt, and she was dizzy—dizzier than she had ever been before. Never in her life had she been hit so hard that she couldn't stand up.

Golden light now surrounded Su Sheng, and the powerful divine energy coursed through his body, filling him with an overwhelming sense of power and excitement.

He had copied Diana's abilities.

As a demigod, Diana had been blessed by the Olympian gods from birth, her abilities enhanced beyond mortal limits. She also possessed a certain amount of divine power. Although the old gods like Zeus had faded from the world, replaced by new gods like Darkseid, Diana's power was still immense, even if she hadn't yet fully realized or accepted her identity.

Now, that power was Su Sheng's.

Suddenly, blue electric energy crackled around the golden divine power, merging and swirling together. Su Sheng now looked like a god descended to earth.

"Ares..." Hippolyta whispered, staring at Su Sheng with wide eyes, the name slipping from her lips in disbelief.
