Chapter 45 - Chapter 45: Your Daughter is Really Great!

Helena's character was extreme, marked by a self-destructive awareness that bordered on self-mutilation. She was willing to sacrifice anything, including herself, to achieve her goals. It was no wonder that she had become so ruthless and cruel; after all, how could she care about others when she didn't even care about herself?

This intense personality brought many surprises to Su Sheng.

In the days that followed, Helena's willingness to experiment in their intimate moments kept Su Sheng intrigued. Whether in the bedroom, the living room, or even out in the courtyard, where they cleared the villa of everyone just so Su Sheng could drive on the lawn, Helena always found new ways to keep things interesting. She even accompanied Su Sheng to view some properties Felicity had found, and along the way, she would kick the driver and bodyguard out of the car, forcing them to wait on the side of the road while they continued their "discussions."

Su Sheng began to feel that he needed to drink some supplements just to keep up, lest his girlfriend Felicity end up dissatisfied with him.

Helena's outrageous behavior had a significant effect. Within just a few days, the people around Frank had shifted their perception of Helena from being the boss's daughter to being Su Sheng's girlfriend. Of course, everyone knew what that really meant. Although Frank himself had not made any public appearances, he was well-informed about everything going on, and there were murmurs of discontent among some of his men.

It was a matter of pride, after all.

If people from other gangs learned that their boss's daughter was behaving like this, it would be humiliating. How could they continue to command respect? Would they still dare to follow a boss who sacrificed his own daughter like this?

Finally, Frank decided it was time to talk to Su Sheng.

Upon arriving home, Frank entered the villa and asked the bodyguards, "Is Helena home?"

"Upstairs, and... the other one is with her. He just went up."

Frank frowned and waved the bodyguards away, hesitating for a moment before deciding not to go upstairs himself.

In the upstairs room, Helena smirked as she noticed her father hadn't come upstairs after a while. "It seems the time is right. He's back, but he didn't come up. He's probably planning to ask you to take action against someone."

"Then let's go see him," Su Sheng suggested.

"Wait, I need to change first." Helena stopped Su Sheng, walking over to her closet. A few moments later, she emerged, wearing high heels, a black tight dress, and a pair of suspenders. "How do I look?"

"Perfect."

"And this," Helena said, pulling out a leather collar with a long rope chain attached. She handed the chain to Su Sheng.

"You're really going all out, huh?" Su Sheng chuckled as he tugged on the rope. She really intended to go downstairs like this—it was quite the bold move.

Helena pointed to a small ornament on the collar. "I had this specially made a while ago. I originally planned to put it on the dog my father always brought with him to record and collect evidence, but the dog died in an accident recently. Now, it's the perfect tool for collecting evidence without arousing suspicion. Plus, it'll be a great way to humiliate him. I can't wait to see you holding this leash in front of everyone."

"I'm starting to admire you a bit," Su Sheng admitted. Helena's ability to turn anything to her advantage, her ruthlessness, and her patience—all pointed to her future as a skilled huntress. She was willing to do anything to take down her prey, and few could escape her grasp.

Su Sheng appreciated Helena's attitude. It mirrored his own carefree, do-whatever-it-takes mindset.

Da da da.

The sound of footsteps echoed from the stairs. Frank turned his head to see Su Sheng leading Helena downstairs by the leash, but what shocked him was how his daughter was dressed and the fact that she was being led by a rope!

Frank's initial reaction wasn't anger—it was relief.

Thank goodness he had sent everyone else away!

"Your daughter is really great," Su Sheng said to Frank with genuine admiration.

Frank forced an awkward smile, but inside, he was furious at Helena. Where was that stubborn temper she always showed him? How could she be so obedient to Su Sheng?

"Have you made up your mind?" Su Sheng asked, his tone carrying a hint of warning.

Frank instantly understood what Su Sheng was getting at. "Anthony Vensa, the leader of the drug-dealing gang we've been fighting with over control of Starling City's drug market. I was planning to talk to him about a potential partnership tonight."

"Not tonight—now," Su Sheng responded casually.

"Now? But I haven't made the arrangements yet," Frank said, surprised.

"Then go make them. I don't want to waste time." Su Sheng's tone made it clear there was no room for negotiation. Before Frank could react, Su Sheng led Helena out of the villa.

In the afternoon sun, with a gentle breeze blowing, the bodyguards outside the villa stood dumbfounded as they watched Su Sheng lead Helena across the lawn and into the garage, as if she were a pet on a leash.

Oh my God!

What in the world...

"What are you standing around for? Tell the crew to get to Anthony Vensa's place, now!" Frank's roar echoed from inside the villa, snapping the bodyguards back to their senses. They rushed to carry out his orders, aware of the fury simmering beneath his calm exterior.
