Fuyuki City, Kobe Grand Hotel
...
The cheerful chirping of sparrows drifted in through the open balcony window. Fuyuki City, not exactly a bustling metropolis, boasted a maximum building height of seven stories.
Haru's hotel room, naturally, was on the seventh floor—prime sparrow territory.
Warm sunlight streamed through the window, bathing the room in a golden glow.
Haru felt—refreshed.
Beside him, Aoi Zenjou lay beneath the covers, her delicate arm resting on top of the duvet, faint red marks still visible on her pale skin, a few stray tears clinging to her eyelashes. A peaceful smile graced her lips.
Haru pulled her closer, inhaling the scent of her skin—not the expected floral fragrance, but the lingering musk of their—activities.
He felt a familiar stirring within him, a renewed surge of desire. He took a deep breath, suppressing the urge, and gently 'caressed' Aoi's breast, earning a soft moan from the sleeping girl.
After a moment, he stopped, his thoughts turning inward. He'd orchestrated this entire encounter.
From impersonating Kariya Matou, appearing as Aoi's—'knight in shining armor', to having Natalia book the hotel room in advance—it had all been part of his Plan!
'When had he started down this path? This road of—debauchery'… Perhaps it had begun with that desperate, suicidal attack against Goddess Tsukuyomi—that was the moment the shackles of his morality had been shattered.
...
Lost in thought, he heard a soft moan. Aoi's eyelashes fluttered, and her dark eyes slowly opened, Haru's silver hair was the first thing she saw.
As the memories of last night's—Passion—flooded back, Aoi's face paled. What should have been a joyous occasion—Kariya, the timid, gentle man she'd loved for so long, finally finding the courage to rescue her, even taking her to a hotel—had become a nightmare.
"It—wasn't a dream…?" Aoi's voice was barely a whisper, her eyes filling with despair. Haru's face, not Kariya's, was etched in her memory.
The moment he'd—pounced—Azazel's spell had dissipated, the illusion fading, revealing the truth. And she, caught in the throes of passion, her mind clouded…
"Are you—a Magician?" Aoi's voice was calm, but the tremor in her eyes betrayed her inner turmoil.
As a descendant of a mage family, though their power had waned over generations, she knew about the darker side of the world. And in her mind, only a Magician could have orchestrated such a—manipulation.
She knew why he'd seduced her, why he'd taken her virginity. She was a valuable tool to Magicians like Tokiomi Tohsaka.
She'd known Tokiomi's intentions from the start. She'd agreed to marry him because, compared to other Magicians, he seemed—human. She believed he would at least treat her with a degree of respect.
And her preference for Kariya? It stemmed from years of knowing him, of understanding his gentle nature, his genuine affection for her. He would have cherished her, spoiled her.
A calculated marriage of convenience versus genuine affection—the choice seemed obvious. Of course, she hadn't known about the Matou's—unique brand of magic, or about Zouken Matou.
"I'm—something like that. A—supernatural being, let's say," Haru replied, a flicker of discomfort in his eyes. He'd been expecting tears, accusations, and perhaps even a suicide attempt. Aoi's calmness was unsettling.
"After I bear your child—will you—let me go?" Aoi's voice was flat, devoid of emotion. For a woman raised in a traditional household, the loss of her virginity was akin to losing her very reason for being.
But she knew the dangers of defying a Magician. Without a child, resistance would only lead to—unpleasant consequences. She remembered Tokiomi's words, his promise to find her, to preserve her.
"A child?" Haru chuckled. At his current level of power, producing offspring wasn't so easy. Even Sora, with whom he'd been most—active, and Pandora, the most powerful of his—partners, hadn't conceived. Did he really think a single encounter with Aoi would result in a pregnancy? 'The odds were astronomical.'
But in Aoi's words, Haru heard a silent plea, an offering of her future.
...
He was about to respond when he felt it—two powerful Wills stirring within Aoi's womb. (Gaia and Alaya)
And then, a tiny spark of life—a flicker of a soul—ignited.
Sensing the familiar aura within the nascent life, Haru froze. "My two new mothers—want a grandchild? Seriously?!"
"Ah!"
The duvet covering Aoi vaporized as a wave of energy pulsed from Haru. He stared at her, his eyes filled with a mixture of shock and disbelief, then slowly leaned down, his ear against her stomach.
Aoi gasped, her hands instinctively covering herself, her legs pressing together, her face flushed with a mix of embarrassment and—'amusement' as she watched Haru's actions.
"It's—real…" Haru murmured, his voice barely a whisper.
Aoi's face paled as she looked down at her still-flat stomach. "But—how—how is that possible? So soon…"
"I can sense—Life force," Haru said, his voice still laced with disbelief.
Aoi stared at her stomach, her expression unreadable.
...
Aoi walked along a path in Fuyuki City's park, her hand absently resting on her stomach. Her mind raced, her thoughts a jumbled mess.
Still reeling from the shock, she'd asked Haru for some time alone, forbidding him from accompanying her.
He'd agreed, on the condition that she remain under the watchful eye of his—bodyguard.
She'd readily accepted. She just needed time to process everything, to avoid Haru's presence. Being around others was—fine.
Aoi glanced at the figure walking beside her, her—bodyguard.
A young woman with radiant, golden hair that cascaded down to her waist, a voluptuous figure that even her loose-fitting white robes couldn't conceal, twelve pure white wings extending from her back, a halo of light above her head, a single white lily tucked behind her ear.
A face that Aoi found both beautiful and—intimidating, now wore a look of polite concern.
"Is something the matter, Mary-sama?" (The Archangel Gabriel)
The guardian of Jesus Christ, now her bodyguard, addressing her as—Mary.
Aoi's mind reeled.
Mary, even after giving birth, was still revered as the Virgin Mary. So, from a religious perspective, had she—actually lost her virginity? Did she even have a reason to feel this—despair?
...
But the blood—the feeling of—fullness—last night—what did that mean?
Shaking her head, trying to clear her thoughts, she continued her walk with Gabriel, her face still pale, her mind still a jumble of confusion. Then, she saw them—two figures walking towards her.
