The tear in space suddenly expanded, revealing a gap large enough for an adult to pass through. Kasugano Haru slowly emerged, casually shaking his slightly reddened right hand. A sly smile tugged at the corner of his mouth as he looked at Rama.
"No wonder the Sacred Sword of Salvation is called that, it's really tough!"
Rama turned his head, his gaze filled with astonishment as he looked at Haru's figure. No one understood better than he did the power of the Mandala array earlier.
That was, in ages past, after Rama descended to earth to bear the mission of annihilating demon kings and bringing salvation, he was gifted innumerable heavenly weapons by the gods each time he completed his mission.
By now, these encompassed almost all the divine artifacts in mythology.
The Sacred Sword of Salvation was the embodiment of these divine tools unified. Because it possessed nearly all mythical divine artifacts, it was called the Sacred Sword of Salvation.
The Mandala array was an attack method that transformed countless divine artifacts into divine lightning to pour down upon the enemy.
But such an attack had been shattered, though it was only at the initial stage of deployment, being shattered was still a fact.
"A remarkable figure has emerged among the current godslayers..."
Rama gazed at Haru's figure, his pupils slightly contracting. With a bitter expression, he spoke to Haru.
"Is Sita still so resentful of me?"
Haru was momentarily dumbfounded. What the heck? Did he find out? This is awkward. "Well... you know why."
Rama smiled bitterly, then his face showed relief. "Indeed, with her resentment, it's only natural for her to seek revenge."
Haru stared blankly at Rama, scratching his head vigorously. What's going on? I don't remember giving him a reason to be this way. As expected of a god, his psychological resilience is strong!
Rama stretched out his hand, and the fragments of the Sacred Sword of Salvation suddenly gathered above his head. In the blink of an eye, it restored its form and slowly floated into Rama's hand.
"No wonder Sita is prepared to go this far. To be able to shatter the Sacred Sword to such an extent, since my descent, this is the first time...."
Rama gently tossed the Sacred Sword upward, his gaze fixed upon it as he softly spoke. "O Sacred Sword of Salvation! Reveal your true form to the world!"
A vast square magic array appeared above his head. Each side was about ten meters long. The square array was divided into tiny grids, each depicting the image of a weapon.
Just by glancing, one could roughly estimate that there were over a hundred weapons and armaments. And there were four such magic arrays, spread across the four directions of east, west, south, and north.
The most numerous within the arrays were "arrows," followed by the eighteen traditional weapons, it could be called a compendium of divine weapons. There were even items like shoes, belts, rings, helmets, and other accessories.
However...
Haru looked up at the Mandala arrays in the sky with a bewildered expression. "There's even underwear up there, and you're using it as a weapon? Are you a pervert?"
Rama was taken aback, then glanced up at a particular grid in the Mandala array, seeing the undergarment within.
He said with a wry smile, "That's part of the celestial garments of the Weaver Girl. I didn't expect such items to appear. I've been gifted so many divine artifacts that, to this day, I'm not even sure of their types and quantities..."
"You recognized it as the Weaver Girl's at a glance..." Haru looked at Rama in astonishment.
Rama felt immensely awkward and hurriedly explained, "As the master of the Sacred Sword, when I see the divine artifacts within, their names and usage naturally appear in my mind. It's not what you're thinking..."
However, Haru stared at Rama with a disdainful look. He finally understood why the Last King before him was called the Enemy of Female Gods.
At this moment, Athena floated out from the spatial rift. She looked up slightly, and upon seeing the Mandala arrays in the sky, her expression changed.
She whispered, "It's completed? The Grand Covenant and the ultimate sword to annihilate all Devil kings..."
Rama turned to look at Athena, surprised. "Lady Athena? I didn't expect you to intervene as well."
Athena looked grimly at Anshera, who had lost consciousness beside Rama, and at Guinevere, several hundred meters away, barely maintaining her form with Lancelot sharing his life force.
"What an extremely vile man. Every time you appear, you bury my kin."
Rama remained silent, looking at Athena with eyes that held a hint of fatigue and remorse.
After a while, Rama lowered his head and prepared to push away the unconscious Anshera.
He tried several times to withdraw his foot, which Anshera had bitten, but even unconscious, she held on tightly. Rama watched in silence as Anshera's body began to gradually disintegrate.
A dark light emerged from Athena's body. The pitch-black divine power transformed into a black mist, spreading to Rama's side and enveloping Anshera. Assimilating her into the mist, it transformed into a dark winged serpent that returned to Athena's side.
Athena stroked the small, arm-length dark serpent, sighing, "Rest well, my kin."
The dark serpent merged into Athena's body. She turned her gaze to Haru, who was staring intently at Rama. Walking forward, she wrapped her arms around Haru's neck, kissed his cheek, and whispered in his ear, "Bury Rama, our King of the Earth Mother."
Then, Athena retreated to the rear.
Crack! Crack!
Haru rolled his neck, clenched his fists, opened his hands, then clenched them again.
His gray pupils were covered by a golden light, the sign of fully activating the authority over the Earth's rules. Haru grinned, revealing a bloodthirsty smile as he looked at Rama.
"Are you ready, Rama?"
"Not yet. May I trouble you to wait a moment, Godslayer?"
Rama gently shook his head, sorrowfully gazing at the devastated land destroyed by the Thunder of Salvation. He called out loudly.
"Appear, Pushpaka Vimana!"
Immediately, the ground began to emit a white light. Earlier, everyone had been standing on the scorched, dry earth blasted by the Thunder of Salvation.
But now, the ground suddenly transformed into white, gleaming stone tiles, the scenery had completely changed. Kasugano Haru found himself in a city.
Everywhere he looked were white stone tiles, stretching infinitely into the distance. The ground was entirely paved with these tiles; more than half of the land was empty space.
The number of buildings wasn't particularly high, but everywhere stood magnificent houses and towers, crafted as if by divine hands.
The structures were made entirely of gray stone that mixed black and white, as if the stones had been born in the shape of houses, there were no traces of construction.
Haru slightly lifted his foot and stomped heavily on a corner of the ground. The ground trembled slightly before returning to calm.
"What terrifying power. If not for Pushpaka Vimana being an aerial palace forged by the combined efforts of the gods, a divine artifact serving as the dwelling of the gods, it would have been destroyed already.
Such casual actions can shake this place. Is his strength comparable to the mass of the Eurasian continent?"
Rama looked at Haru with admiration. He understood what Haru's power represented. This godslayer before him truly lived up to Sita and Athena's expectations, he was someone capable of burying him.
"Since you already know my name, Godslayer, may I ask yours before our final battle?"
"Kasugano Haru!"
"Then come, Platinum Star! Come, Sacred Sword of Salvation!"
The Mandala arrays spread across the sky began to emit lightning. An endless torrent of divine thunder, transformed from divine artifacts, poured down toward Haru like a deluge.
