The moment Perseus slew Mithras, a brilliant golden light enveloped her. A magnificent, ethereal horse, bearing the sun on its back, suddenly appeared beside her.

The horse nuzzled Perseus affectionately, then dissolved into points of light that merged into her body.

Sensing the change within her divine vessel and the information flowing from it, Perseus was astonished to discover that the foreign god who had ambushed her was actually a God born from her own archetype.

a fusion of the Persian and Roman sun gods. After she killed this Mithras, its divine vessel was exposed. The vessel, sensing its original archetype, naturally returned to Perseus.

Witnessing Mithras's demise at Perseus's hand, Doni, who had been about to unleash a world-rending strike, abruptly stopped his attack. He watched, captivated, as the goddess absorbed Mithras's power.

"Oh? This is the first time I've seen a Heretic God kill another Heretic God. I never imagined that Gods could usurp each other's authorities"

the silver-armed King of Swords muttered, gripping the hilt of his western sword, his eyes fixed on the horse of the sun as it merged into the goddess's body.

"Is that so? Indeed, divine authorities cannot typically be usurped between gods. However, in this instance, it seems that because this sun god was born from my archetype. the sun has returned to my embrace"

the golden-haired goddess spoke for the first time, her voice filled with a noble grace, yet also a touch of girlish petulance.

During their previous exchange, the Valkyrie had remained silent. It wasn't that she disliked speaking; rather, she preferred the clash of steel, the thrill of combat befitting her title.

Thus, when her fight with Doni was interrupted, she had immediately turned her attention to the interloping Mithras.

When two unfamiliar gods encountered each other, they usually didn't interfere. But if a Godslayer appeared, they would typically join forces to eliminate the threat. Godslayers, who killed gods and stole their authorities, were not welcome.

"I see. You seem to have grown stronger. While I'd love to continue our fight, it appears we have someone lurking in the shadows," Doni said, scratching the back of his head, a troubled expression on his face.

Recalling Mithras's dying cries of "Verethragna," he felt a headache coming on. It was supposed to be a simple battle with a god, so why were there so many interruptions?

"So, shall we continue to work together and flush out this hidden rat?" Doni slung his sword over his shoulder, offering Perseus a cheerful smile.

Just then, Kasugano Haru materialized silently behind Doni, an invisible force locking onto him, holding him in place.

Doni's face paled, his pupils constricting sharply as he felt the sudden pressure. He quickly activated his immortality authority, channeling his magical energy to defend against the impending attack from behind.

Haru, his face impassive, extended his right hand. He moved slowly, almost casually, tracing the contours of Doni's back, searching for the perfect point of contact.

Finally, with a deceptively gentle motion, he tapped Doni squarely in the center of his back.

BOOM!

The air exploded with a thunderous crack. Doni was sent flying with an irresistible force, hurtling towards the horizon where the sea met the sky, leaving a long trail of churning waves in his wake.

"Damn! Who! The! Hell! Was! That?!" Doni roared, his voice distorted by the sonic boom, each word reaching Perseus's ears eight seconds after he uttered it.

Witnessing Doni's effortless defeat, Perseus's expression shifted. She placed her hand on the hilt of her sword at her waist, slowly tightening her grip. Her eyes locked onto Haru, filled with a deep sense of apprehension.

She was confident she could have dodged the final blow, even having dozens of escape routes in mind and counter-attacks planned.

But that initial technique, that power which seemed to solidify the very energy of the world, was completely unbreakable.

She was no match for him. Not even close. But that didn't matter. Even facing overwhelming odds, the Valkyrie never faltered.

In fact, she reveled in the challenge. To confront a powerful foe and surpass her own limits was the very nature of a warrior.

Perseus slowly drew her thin sword from its scabbard. But halfway through the motion, a small, delicate hand grasped her wrist, stopping her.

"Drawing your sword against your father is forbidden, my daughter," Athena said, appearing suddenly at Perseus's side.

Her left hand held Perseus's right, preventing her from drawing her sword. Her eyes, narrowed slightly, glowed with a dangerous light, her body radiating a dark, murderous divine power.

Perseus's pupils constricted at the sight of Athena. As she felt the familiar divine power, she gasped. "Mother?"

Haru looked at the two goddesses, one silver, one gold, with a puzzled expression. He relaxed his stance, allowing the aura he had suppressed for the ambush to slowly emanate outwards.

Sensing this aura, Perseus quickly sheathed her sword, her hand falling away from the hilt. Her expression shifted to one of utter panic.

"That all-encompassing aura of the earth!... Father? Have you taken on a mortal form again to seduce some unsuspecting girl?"

Hearing the goddess's frantic words, Haru felt a vein throb in his forehead. He gestured towards Athena, an invisible force pulling her closer to him. "What's going on here? Why does she think I've taken on a mortal form to seduce a girl?"

Athena's eyes flickered with amusement. A sly smile played on her lips as she considered for a moment before answering.

"In the myths I created, Perseus is our daughter. And for your template, I referenced Zeus... in terms of his personal life..."

Haru stared at the bright-eyed goddess, her face full of playful mischief, his own face paling. "So, in her eyes, I, her father, act like Zeus?"

Zeus's typical behavior: transforming into a bull to seduce a queen, turning into a torrential downpour to "rain" on a group of beautiful women (essentially a euphemism for having sex)

forcing himself on his daughter because he found her attractive, and even hitting on his daughter-in-law.

Haru slowly turned to face the golden-haired goddess. Seeing the mixture of shyness and intense wariness in her eyes, he covered his face with his hand.

"This is a disaster!"
