" Please Edward, my parents will come after you if I die here " Ava pleaded.
" Do you think I care " he asked. He could clearly see that Elena was just scaring her and wouldn't really kill her but he derived joy from the the suffering of Ava.
* Laughs *
" Oh my goodness, am just joking darling. Why would I wanna give you an easy death ? " Elena asked letting go off her neck.
" You .... You.... How dare you ? " Ava asked angrily. Despite the fear she just felt down her spine, she couldn't take the unpalatable threat imposed on her.
" Err.... Edward I would send the document to you via your email, you just need to go through them and sign. If you can't abide by them just forget about the marriage " Elena explained ignoring Ava's little threat.
" Ouch " he replied. " When will the wedding take place? " He asked.
" It depends on you darling, the soonest you sign the document " she replied. She did not want to accept it by she had an impeccable taste for Edward, the fact that he watched her torment his little girl left an impression on her.
" Good " he replied.
Documents ? Yes he was willing to sign as long as she was in his possession, he was willing to do anything to get her to him.
" You know Elena, Edward here is quite mysterious and cruel. I mean more brutal than you are " Ava said. If she couldn't get him then no one will , it was just as simple as that for her . Edward was her's and nobody else.
" Well darling I really have a thing for mysterious people and brutal people as well you know " Elena replied. She couldn't understand why she felt an intense hatred oozing out of Ava towards her but she liked it.
Edward on the other hand, really liked the turn of event even though he could clear see Elena's hate for him through her eyes , he still liked the fact that she complimented him just to reel Ava up.
" Well Edward, I have work to do and I really need to attend to them . It was really a pleasure meeting you Ava " she said as she got off her seat.
" It wasn't " Ava replied sharply.
" Let me walk you outside " Edward said leaving Ava all by herself.
On getting outside " Thank you for not well... Killing her " Edward appreciated .
" I really want to stake you both together " was Elena's reply as she entered her car and drove off.
" Well my little tigress .... " He left his statement unfinished as his phone rang.
* At the hospital *.
" Good morning ma'am " Elena greeted the nurse she met at the reception.
" Good morning miss, how may I help you this morning " the nurse asked.
" Am here to see Mr Alexander Shawn " she replied.
" Oh okay miss, this way " the nurse replied leading her towards his room.
* Knock knock *.
" Excuse me Mr Shawn but a lady is her to see you " the nurse said.
" Who ? " Mr Daniel Shawn asked . " Just let her in " he said.
" Good morning " Elena greeted on entering inside, it was a VIP room.
" El... Elena? " Old man Shawn asked.
" Yes grandpa it's me " she replied. Despite everything that had happened and all they have conspired against her, she still valued them for the upbringing they gave her.
" Elena, you came to visit him after everything we've done to you ? " Mr Daniel Shawn asked feeling shocked and remorseful.
" Of course, even if we may not be related he was still my grandpa at some point in my life " she replied as she walked closer to him.

" How are you feeling " she asked.
" Am better I guess, although the doctor said will condition is critical " Old man Shawn explained.
" Well ..... You may need to travel abroad. I will speak with the doctor to well prepare a transfer letter for you . I will now take my leave " she said.

* At Elena's office *.
" Ma'am, you asked for me " a lady said.
" Yes Andrea, you worked with the Nelson's for how long? " Elena asked.
" 4 years ma'am " she replied.
" I see.... What was Ava's relationship with Mr Edward " Elena asked. She didn't want to make it personal but she didn't like Ava's claim on him.
" Well ma'am, Mr Edward saved Miss Ava when she was just 19 years and then their parents decided to get them both engaged. Although Mr Edward never wanted it , he still couldn't refuse them". The lady explained.
" I should have known " Elena said out loud. " You can leave dear " she ordered.

" Save ? Does he save people or cause more trouble for them " Elena thought.
* At Edwards office *.
" Ehm... I expected her to lay some mind splitting conditions. She just wants her company " he said.
" Are you blind? " Someone asked. " Can't you see, she said you can't touch her " the person explained.
" That's not a problem, she will eventually want me to touch her at some point " Edward explained. " Anyway what are you doing here ? " he asked.
" Atticus came, deva came here too . So why will I the great Dante not come " the person replied.

Beep a message entered elenas phone , " this weekend ? " Elena asked
" Weekend it is " they all exclaimed excitingly.
" Ahhh " she exclaimed in her mind . " this is not happening am gonna get married to the annoying little devil " she murmured internally.
