At that, Sophie stood up from one of the chairs near the edge of the ring. She walked over to them with an awkward smile, looking between everyone and sensing the tension hanging in the air.
"I'm here," she said quietly, her gaze flicking from Lucius to Lira, apprehensive but trying to hide it.
Turning her attention to Lucius, she offered him a sincere expression.
"Thank you so much for helping me," she added, her gratitude evident in her tone.
Lucius just nodded.
"So where are we gonna start from?" Emory asked, her excitement palpable as they began to move forward into the training area.
"Uh," Darren interjected thoughtfully. "Sophie's ability is true flight, right? First and foremost, she'll need to select a weapon… something that feels right for her."
Emory's face lit up at the mention of weapons.
