Ivan stared at the crystal in his hand before turning to look at the priestess who was smiling at him; his expression was cold, and his eyes dull.
"Don't worry about me playing any tricks on you while you absorb it; you can't be any safer than you are here; I have no use for using tricks anyway," She uttered calmly when she noticed Ivan's hesitant and suspicious look.
The pupils in her eyes danced around as if reacting to her words.
Ivan's expression didn't change but he sat down cross-legged right after. What she said was true, she had no need to sneak up on him or do anything funny while he refined Nexus energy into AP; he might as well advance to the next rank under her
watch since no monster would bother him.
The red energy contained within the crystal soon started to rise and enter Ivan's body at a fast pace, his AP immediately began to rise.
