Yemi and Akindele rush out of their
planet to check on their master, who
shouted. "'Master, why did you make a
sudden loud noise?" Ayodeji, frozen in
place by what he saw, did not reply; they
both turned their gazes towards the
direction he faces.
"What most have happened here." Yemi
and Akindele said, their jaws dropping in
astonishment.
"Looking at their surroundings, what they
are seeing is different from what they
anticipated. The fourth universe is filled
with countless half-dead or completely
dead planets drifting aimlessly.
Everywhere is in disarray, riddled with
meteoroids that serve as dungeons for
devourer beasts.
The ring, where planets are aligned to
effectively absorb cosmic energy during
their orbit, is shattered. The world tree's
root in the fourth universe is sealed
behind a transparent barrier, trapping
60% of it's cosmic energy with it.
The fourth universe has been reduced to
a shattered wasteland. As they survey
the desolated universe, a voice echos,
desperately pleading, "Help, please.
Please help me." The voice screamed,
Ayodeji, Yemi, and Akindele turn towards
the voice.
There is a Rank 7 devourer beast in the
process of devouring a planet belonging
to an old man who screamed for help.
Before Yemi can draw his bow and arrow
and Akindele can prepare his dragon
claw technique, Ayodeji leaps forward.
Using his 'quake leap technique,' he
arrived right beside the struggling old
man. He throws a powerful punch; his
'using blood fist technique.' hits the
beast's forehead.
The beast falls silent, lifeless, floating in
space without visible injury.
Both Yemi and Akindele's eyes widen
and freeze for a moment. "Did you see
that, Yemi?" Akindele takes deep
breaths. "It seems our effort to get
stronger in order to brag about it is in
vain." He said, turning to Yemi, who has
already gone blank from the incident.
Ayodeji stretches his right hand towards
the old man, pulls him up. "Are you
okay?" Ayodeji asked, looking at him
confusedly. "Yes, thanks for coming to
my aid." The old man said, dressing
himself properly. "Please, can you tell us
what happened here?" He inquired
without hesitation.
"Oh, please follow me into that grotto."
The old man said, pointing at one of the
meteoroids.
They all follow the old man into the
grotto. Inside the grotto there are five
small meteoroids carved into a small
stool with a rough interior. "Please have a
seat." The old man said, pointing at the
small stool. "
They all sit down. The man begins to
explain, "It all started around 120,000
cosmic years ago. A large number of
dungeon outbreaks happen. Devourer
beasts rushed out of the dungeon in
massive numbers, causing havoc
everywhere, devouring a lot of planets
vitality, damaging the revolution rings,
and the world tree's root." Ayodeji
interrupts him, "I think there are systems
in place to control dungeon outbreaks."
He inquired.
"Yes, but the man in charge of the fourth
universe monopolized the dungeons and
their resources, which discouraged a lot
of planet architects from dungeon
exploration." He answered.
"Sorry to interrupt," Akindele pleaded,
"who sealed the world tree's and why."
He asked.
"Let me explain the story verbally. In the
first day all the devourer beasts break out
of the dungeons; they were led by a
Rank 9 devourer beast, leading to an all-
out battle."
"Many planet architects have their
planet devoured, crippled, and ultimately
leads to their deaths. With the aid of a
rank 9 devourer beast, they easily
overcome our differences, causing
damage to the revolution rings and the
world tree's roots. It took thousands of
planet architects at the peak of the king
realm to fend off the rank 9 devourer
beast, and they all paid a price; some of
them had their planets completely
devoured, crippling them. A month later,
those who have their planets partially
devoured like me lose most of our
strength, even though we maintain our
cultivation realm. It's a fake realm."
