Chapter 94 - Chapter 95 (the deception revealed)

Next day.

All members of heavenly squad six have

woken up, and they were all surprised to

see their leader already waiting for them

at the inn dining hall.

"Squad leader, didn't you also go to your

room yesterday to have some sleep?"

Kule inquired.

"Yeah, about that, a massager brought a

message yesterday, which is about our

new mission."

Ogunleye said.

"What?, squad leader is too early to play

some prank on us."

Kule said as they all laughed.

After a few seconds, they all see the

seriousness on their squad leader's face,

which makes them realize that he was

serious about it.

Kule clears his throat as he speaks.

"So, what is the mission all about?"

"We are to join heavenly squads three

and four at the north to defend the border

against the ferocious beasts."

Ogunleye explained.

"Why are we joining them? I thought that

the beast tidy was not that serious."

Bola said.

"That was before, but right now it is more

than serious."

Ogunleye replied.

They all look at the side of their squad

leader, where they see some baskets.

"Squad leader, don't tell me you bought

all these baskets."

Kule inquired.

Bolu looks at their squad leader in

surprise.

"Don't tell us we are."

Ogunleye interrupts him.

"Yes, just as you have all said and

imagined.

We are all going to run their carrying

basket full of stone debris; we need to

increase our stamina."

He concluded.

"That means no transport at all.

" Kule asked.

"Yes, unless there is a need for it. So let's

dash down the north."

Without any further ado, they all start

their journey immediately.

The same day, late in the evening.

Inside the Obafemi room.

"Everything has been set, squad leader."

Dare reported.

"Ok, let's move."

He instructed.

Obafemi picked up the bow and arrow he

picked after eliminating the wind arrow

mountain leader, and as they both

walked down to the town hall, which the

bandits used as their shelter.

"Lead the rest of the members to

eliminate all the members of the bandit

household; I will go to the leader room."

Obafemi said.

"Okay, but will you be alright, squad

leader, with your injuries?"

Dare asked out of concern.

"Yeah, don't worry about me; just do as I

have instructed."

Obafemi instructed.

Dare take his leave to do as he has been

instructed while going straight to the

Tiger Claw Mountain Leader residence.

Obafemi climbs up a nearby house for

clear visual and arrow projection.

He pulls out his arrow and bows as he

points it directly at his target.

"Heavenly wind style, tempest surge."

Releasing his arrow.

The arrow hit the target, which made him

relieved, but he still decided to check to

confirm if he was totally dead, not to

leave any future potential threats.

He entered the room carefully, moving

directly to the dead body to confirm.

He moved the face and saw that it was

truly the bandit leader.

He was about to move away when an

attack came from above, out of nowhere.

Obafemi dodged it out of reflex.

"I see why other bandit households die

in your hands."

The Tiger Claw Mountain leader said as

he cracked his fingers.

"Wait, who is on the floor right now?"

Obafemi asked out of curiosity.

"Ho, that's one of my subordinates.

I could have used those two spies you

planted in my household, but they might

give my plan away."

"You sure are ruthless."

Obafemi said.

"They all pledge their loyalty to me, so

why can't they do just this?"

He claims.

"I really pity them for serving you as their

boss."

Obafemi nodded in pity.

"Inferiors die in place of their superiors;

that's how the world works."

He smiled.
