No one else came to disturb them after that, and Tangyu and Liu Shiyi were able to enjoy a quiet firepot dinner in peace. Neither was much of a talker, and it was obviously hard to find many topics of conversation. Knowing that Tangyu had a girlfriend, Liu Shiyi felt somewhat uneasy, and most of their conversation revolved around her asking Tangyu for advice on some traditional Chinese medicine topics. Less than an hour passed before they finished their meal, both eating happily and inadvertently drawing their relationship a bit closer. Of course, if Lin Feifei weren't in the picture, Liu Shiyi's feelings for Tangyu might have grown much stronger.
This invisible barrier also left Tangyu feeling quite helpless.
