That day, Liu Chen spent his time in Qin Lu's accessory shop. When nobody else was around, he flirted with Qin Lu in various ways. When there were customers, he helped by engaging in conversations. Believe it or not, by the end of the day, the shop's sales were significantly higher than usual.
The two of them walked home together and found Lin Xueting had already arrived, and she had cooked a full table of dishes.
"Steamed carp, crystal pork knuckles, toothpick meat, seaweed egg drop soup, and boiled peanuts - hey, all these are my favorites," Liu Chen said, puzzled as he looked towards Lin Xueting.
The latter bashfully lowered her head and smiled, her eyes slightly shimmering.
"Courtesy for no reason usually spells trouble! Come on, what do you need my help with?" Liu Chen sat down and quickly started moving his chopsticks.
"It's nothing major..." Lin Xueting had only spoken halfway when Liu Chen interrupted her.
"Good, if it's nothing, let's eat."
