Ye Qiu rode his bike to the teaching building. After locking up his bike, he headed to the classroom with Liu Lingxiu. The classmates in the class were already basically all here.
There were still thirty minutes before the comprehensive arts exam began. Ye Qiu didn't head to his own seat. After he and Liu Lingxiu entered through the back door, they were called out by Li Shen and Zhu Zhiming. Then they went up to the rooftop to smoke.
Li Shen, familiar with unlocking the door, went inside. The three each found a brick to sit on. Li Shen asked, "Ye Qiu, did you really hook up with Liu Lingxiu?"
Because Liu Lingxiu could speak now, Li Shen no longer called her "mute girl."
However, he was very surprised that Liu Lingxiu could talk normally so soon after Ye Qiu's return. Yet, no one in the class knew how Liu Lingxiu had gotten better.
Ye Qiu chuckled.
"How did Liu Lingxiu's illness get better?" Zhu Zhiming asked.
"I cured her."
Ye Qiu said.
