There are 365 proper acupuncture points in a human body, coinciding with the days of a year, conforming to the cosmic cycle of Zhou Tian.
Ye Qiu had already penetrated half of these acupuncture points, but had been stuck on the Yongquan point.
The Yongquan point, as the source of Qi, is chiefly associated with the kidneys. The "living Qi" referred to in humans is essentially the Qi generated from the Yongquan point.
Qi is omnipresent, the source of all things.
Without Qi, there is no life.
What Ye Qiu needed to do was to open the Yongquan point to allow the Qi to flow throughout his body and nourish it entirely.
Moreover, once the Yongquan point was opened, he would be able to advance further in his practice.
The breakthrough of an acupuncture point is different from breaking through stages of True Qi.
Only when True Qi proceeds first can the stage be elevated.
