Mount Yalaya stands nearly ten thousand meters tall, perennially capped with snow; its massive height means that the surrounding area of nearly a million square kilometers all rises far above other lands, with the air several times thinner than that of a typical landmass. In ancient times of Xuan Country, this place was known as the Land of Bitter Cold.
But although this is the Land of Bitter Cold, it does not mean that no one lives here. On the contrary, since ancient times, there has been a considerable population, counting tens of thousands of people.
Of course, these people have always lived by herding livestock; even in the modern society, countless herdsmen remain active, herding sheep and cattle under these high mountain peaks every day.
However, on this day, all the herdsmen have set aside their work, not even minding if the sheep or cattle wander off; instead, they kneel down in unison, gazing up at the sky.
