"WHY DID you come home alone, Boss?"
Ki Gayoon knitted his eyebrows while taking off his jacket. "Did you expect me to kidnap Noh Yuno and lock him up in my room?"
Baekho tilted his head to one side, obviously confused. "That sounds exactly like what you'd do, Boss."
Haaah.
His right-hand man was lucky that he had a long day or else he would have smacked him at the back of his head already.
"I'm not a kidnapper and Noh Yuno isn't someone I'd like to be locked up in a room with," Gayoon said, plopping down on the sofa while loosening his tie. And then he remembered something that he was curious about. "Are you sure Noh Yuno is already twenty-five years old?"
"Yes, Boss," Baekho answered politely while standing in front of him with his hands behind his back. "Is there a problem?"
"That little shit acts like a rebellious teen going through puberty: he talks back to his elders, he's always frowning, and he has no filter."
"Are you describing yourself, Boss?"
"Do you want to die?"
Baekho immediately bowed his head. "Please forgive my insolence, Boss!"
Haaah.
Gayoon didn't even have the energy to scold Baekho.
And, to be honest, I don't feel pissed these days.
"I said that on purpose, Boss!"
Gayoon knitted his eyebrows. "And why would you do that when it's rare for me to be this calm and collected?"
By my standards, of course.
"Exactly, Boss," Baekho said, smiling while giving Gayoon a double thumbs up. "I just wanted to test if Noh Yuno-ssi's Guiding is still in effect— and it is. Before you've met the boy, you get annoyed at the tiniest inconvenience. But after receiving Noh Yuno-ssi's Guiding, your mood improved a lot, Boss."
"I lost a lot of money because of that punk, so he should at least be that proficient."
"Congratulations on finally finding your Guide, Boss!"
"Not yet."
Baekho looked confused. "Not yet…?"
"It's not yet official until we sign the Binding Contract," Gayoon said, shutting his eyes tight. "I wonder what that little shit is up to while we're waiting for Moon Noa's news?"

YUNO ran to his favorite hair salon as soon as Ki Gayoon left.
He didn't want to come when there were only thirty minutes left before the salon's closing time, but he wanted to dye his hair as soon as possible after hearing Ki Gayoon's shitty comment about his hair color.
"I'm really sorry about asking you to do a complicated procedure at this hour, Noona," Yuno said, apologizing again while bowing his head. He was already seated while his hairdresser noona was standing behind him, meeting his gaze in the mirror in front of them. "And thank you for accommodating me and my selfish request."
Lia, the hairdresser-slash-salon owner who was in her early thirties, smiled and shook her head. "It's alright, Yuno-ssi. You're one of my nicest and most polite clients. I can do this much for you."
There was one person who would object to that.
If Esper Ki Gayoon was here, he'd scoff at Lia Noona for calling me 'polite…'
Wait.
Why the hell am I thinking about that ahjussi?
"Are you sure you want to dye your beautiful, natural, silky brown hair, Yuno-ssi?"
"Yes, Noona," Yuno said bluntly. "Please dye my hair blonde."
"Then we'll have to bleach your hair first."
"Bleach?"
"Yes, bleach. We need to lighten your hair before we can apply blonde dye," Lia explained while touching his hair gently. "Since your hair is in the darker shade of brown, it will take a few sessions before we reach your desired shade."
Oh, that sounds bothersome.
"You seem to be in a hurry, no?"
"Yes, Noona. I need my hair dyed as soon as possible."
"Does it have to be blonde?"
"Not really," Yuno said while shaking his head. He instantly changed his mind because he heard bleaching hurt. "I guess it's fine as long as the new color lightens my natural hair?"
"If that's the case, then we can lighten your hair 1-2 levels without bleaching," Lia said cheerfully as if she was relieved that they had come up with a solution to his trivial problem. "Will that be alright with you?"
"Yes, Noona. I trust you."
"Thank you, dear," Lia said while walking away. "Let me just prepare first."
"Okay, Noona."
Yuno checked his phone first and found two messages from two different people.
Both were bad news.
Argh.
Yuno was glad he acted on his impulsive thought and ran to the hair salon.
Haaah.
Yuno closed his eyes while sighing. "Why do I attract lunatics?"
***
"WHY THE fuck did you dye your hair? You went from little shit to little rust."
"It's not rust— it's light brown copper."
"Same shit."
"If you don't know the difference between rust and light brown copper, then maybe you should donate your eyes to someone who needs them more," Yuno said bluntly. To be honest, he was sleepy and irritated. It was too early for him to deal with a bastard like Ki Gayoon. "Why are you here on my doorstep at six in the morning, Ahjuhyung?"
Yes, he was expecting Ki Gayoon and Moon Noa to be his guests today.
But, if he remembered correctly, they scheduled their meeting to be at 10 AM.
Hence, he was half-annoyed and half-irritated (yes, he was just pissed) when someone rang the doorbell nonstop.
Yuno was forced to get up and open the door…
… only to be greeted by Ki Gayoon's ridiculously handsome face.
Does he only wear black suits?
"Guess why I'm here," Ki Gayoon said, smirking. "I heard you were nocturnal, so I came as early as I could to check if it was true."
Ah.
So, Ahjuhyung is just here to ruin my day.
Bastard.
"Ahjuhyung, you're already in your thirties so you better be careful," Yuno said coldly while glaring at Ki Gayoon's lush jet-black hair. "I hope your hairline recedes every time you piss me off."
"Hey, take it back!"
