It's only the second day at the academy, and we're jolted awake by a loud, grating buzzing sound from the speakers, despite being told today was a free day. Apparently, this was the academy's way of ensuring students maintained a disciplined sleep schedule.
"Ugh, this is so annoying!" Alucard groans, hurling a pillow at me.
The pillow smacks me square in the face—and to my utter shock, I'm sent flying across the room. For a moment, I just lay there, stunned. Who knew a pillow could hit with such force?
Although anger bubbles within me, I keep my composure as I pick myself up and inspect the pillow. It's perfectly intact, no damage whatsoever.
"How the hell did you do that?!" I demand, my voice filled with awe. Whatever he just did wasn't ordinary. To throw something so light and cause that much impact, this wasn't brute strength or Mana.
