Our conversation is interrupted by the sound of heavy, deliberate footsteps approaching. Turning around, we see Ham trudging toward us, his expression unreadable.
"What does he want now?" I mutter, slapping a palm to my face. Ham drops heavily into his seat, letting out a long, exaggerated sigh.
"My blessing has never felt so useless," he finally says, shaking his head with a wry smile. "It usually buffs my mana pool, but I got flattened like a damn baby. Haha. Did you get your blessing from Zeus or something?"
"Are you not angry?" I ask, surprised by his nonchalant tone.
"Angry about what? It's just a game," he says with a shrug. "You won; I lost. What can I do? Honestly, I'm just impressed. Your blessing—it's unlike anything I've ever seen."
Alucard scoffs, crossing his arms. "What pisses me off is Luke could've made double his credits if he'd bet on himself. Such a waste." He clicks his tongue, shaking his head in mock disapproval.
