Instinctively, I grab a small gear off the ground and hurl it at the robot with all my strength.
BANG!!
The gear smashes into the robot's core, taking it out instantly. However, its raised leg remains suspended above Tuna, poised to crush him.
Damn, I did everything I could… I think, closing my eyes and bracing myself for Tuna's screams as the leg comes crashing down.
But instead of cries, there's silence. Opening my eyes, I see Tuna still alive, panting heavily. The robot lies lifeless beside him.
"How did you manage to survive?" I ask, my voice filled with disbelief.
"I ducked just in time. Thank you for saving me," Tuna replies, bowing so deeply his head nearly touches the ground. I try to stop him, but he's persistent.
Now that I take a moment to look around, I notice our team managed to defeat all the robots—but at a steep cost.
