Chapter 6 - Introduction To Magic

The last threads of my magic are rapidly depleting, the countdown in my mind ringing with a sense of urgency.

My heart beats heavily in my chest, the sound seemingly magnified in the silence of Lana's room.

'I should go now!'

I steal one last look at her, an unconscious apology flickering in my eyes, before turning towards the door.

Just as silently as I arrived, I slipped out of Lana's room.

The door creaks shut behind me, the soft click echoing loudly in my ears.

'Did she notice the door? Well, it doesn't matter!'

Right now, only my escape is important.

The hallway stretches ahead, the torches casting long, dancing shadows.

The cold stone under my bare feet seems to chill my nerves, spurring me into action. With a burst of adrenaline, I push off, my feet padding softly against the stone as I begin to run.

The portraits of my ancestors blur in my peripheral vision as I dart past them. The flickering torchlight illuminates my path, the shadows dancing on the walls, matching my racing heartbeat.

My breaths come in shallow gasps, the cold air stinging my lungs.

Each turn, each corner of the hallway is a familiar checkpoint, bringing me closer to the safety of my room.

Finally, the grand double doors of my room loom ahead. I skid to a stop, my heart pounding against my rib cage.

With a quick push, I slip into my room, the door closing behind me just as my magic gives out, my invisibility fading.

"Haa... haaa..."

I'm left panting in the darkness of my room, the adrenaline slowly receding.

"I... I made it. Whew!"

As I sink onto my bed, I can't help but let out a sigh of relief.

I've made it back just in time. The night is still young, but for now, the fun has come to an end.

'It's a shame it was all cut short, but... it was fun while it lasted.'

[The Next Day]

The morning sun streams in through the windows, casting a warm glow over the study. I'm nestled in the plush chair, engrossed in a book on advanced magic.

Each word etches itself into my mind, the vast knowledge feeding my insatiable curiosity about this world.

It's peaceful, the only sound being the gentle rustle of turning pages and the distant chirping of birds outside.

Suddenly, the tranquility is shattered by the hurried click of a door opening. I glance up, just in time to see Lana rushing in, her face flushed.

"M-Master Luke," she stammers, her eyes avoiding mine. "The Duchess... your mother requests your presence downstairs."

Something about her seems off. Her normally calm demeanor is replaced by nervous energy, her hands twisting the hem of her apron.

'Hmm...' I narrow my eyes, observing her.

'Wait. Is she aware of last night's events?'

"Lana," I ask, my tone gentle. "Is something wrong?"

She jumps, looking up at me with wide, surprised eyes. "N-nothing, Master Luke," she quickly responds, a little too quickly.

Her body language betrays her words, her fingers twitching nervously.

I let out a soft chuckle, putting down my book. "Very well. I'll be downstairs soon."

She nods, relief washing over her face. With a curtsy, she quickly exits my study, leaving behind a trail of unanswered questions.

Her cheeks are redder than when she entered, and I can't help but wonder if she suspects my involvement in last night's events.

'That can't be good.'

As the door closes behind her, I'm left in my study, my thoughts racing.

I need to act, to quell any suspicion she might have before it's too late.

No, I have to find out what she knows first.

There could be a misstep on my end, so I have to nip it in the bud before a bigger issue comes out of this.

'Nobody can know my secret!'

But first, duty calls.

With a sigh, I rise from my chair, preparing to face the day ahead.

"I wonder what mother wants..." I mutter to myself.

Closing the book, I tuck it under my arm and rise from the plush chair.

Moving towards the door, I feel the worn wooden handle under my fingertips, and with a gentle push, I open the door to my study.

The long corridor of our mansion sprawls before me, adorned with grand paintings of my ancestors, their austere gazes following me as I make my way to the stairs.

I begin my descent, the plush carpet underfoot muffling my footfalls. The staircase spirals down to the grand entrance, where large windows allow the morning light to bathe the space in a warm, comforting glow.

I see my mother standing at the bottom, her silken dress rustling gently as she turns around to catch sight of me.

'She always looks like a goddess...' My thoughts trail.

"Luke!" she calls out, her voice echoing through the grand hall.

Her gaze draws my attention to a lady standing beside her. Even from this distance, the woman exudes a sense of elegance and regality that commands attention.

As I continue my descent, I get a closer look at the lady.

Her attire is both pristine and sophisticated, and a hat sits atop her head, obscuring most of her hair, but not enough to hide its bright blonde hue.

Her presence is captivating, her violet eyes watching me with an intensity that makes my steps falter slightly.

I can't help but stare at the massive boobs that sit on her chest.

'They're even bigger than mother's...' I thought inwardly.

Once I reach the bottom, my mother beckons me.

"Luke, come greet Lady Alvida," she introduces, her voice brimming with a strange sense of excitement.

"Lady Alvida," I greet curtly, my voice steady.

She extends a gloved hand, and I take it, pressing a respectful kiss to its back.

I use this chance to steal another look on her massive boobs.

'I wonder what they look like underneath all the clothing...'

As I straighten up, I see a hint of a smile on her face.

'Crap! Did she notice me?'

"Starting from today, Lady Alvida will be your Magic Tutor for a few months before you go to the academy!" my mother announces, her eyes twinkling with satisfaction.

I blink in surprise, stunned to hear the news.

Of course, I have been expecting a Magic Tutor ever since my 18th birthday!

It is customary for noble children who show the affinity for Magic, especially heirs such as myself, to begin training as early as 16 Years old. However, due to me being my mom's last born and the heir, she over pampered me— something which I found pretty annoying.

'I heard the Magic Tutor would be coming soon, but I didn't think it would be this sexy lady.'

I am really grateful to the Goddess that it isn't some bearded old man!

I swiftly nod, offering Alvida a respectful bow.

"I look forward to learning from you, Lady Alvida."

"Likewise, Young Master Luke."

'Her voice really sounds smooth and mature...' My thoughts echo in my mind as I stare at her clear and beautiful face.

'I really want to hear her moan, keke!'
