Chapter 19 - Building Up The Heat

I'm walking toward my room, my stomach so full it feels like it might burst at any moment.

Dinner ended a few minutes ago when Dad stood up, saying he had something important to attend to. After he left, the guests followed, as is customary once the Duke departed.

It felt like Mom had pressured Dad into hosting the dinner just so she could bring up the situation with me and Alvida. I have to admit, she's always been steps ahead of me when it comes to thinking. She's the type who can easily get others to do her bidding.

Even though she has this slightly manipulative side, I can't hold it against her—most of what she's done has been for my benefit. In my past life, my mother died the moment I was born, so I never experienced the motherly love that other newborns receive. I was raised on goat, cow, and camel's milk as I grew up.

Maybe that explains my strange obsession with milk and breasts. I even became a dairy farmer, hoping it would satisfy that passion. But the truth is, even until the day I died, I never felt truly fulfilled.

My actual dream was to line up women in rows and milk them every day with my very own hands. That dream felt as unreachable as chasing a star in my past life. But in this new life...

Shaking my head, I enter my room and begin taking off my clothes. As I glance around, I realize the room is exactly how I left it—empty, with the bed still undone. Normally, Lana would be here by now, tidying things up or waiting for me before heading to her own room. Sometimes, she'd even sleep over—on my bed, if I insisted.

'Really? Lana got upset over that?' I think to myself, when suddenly, there's a knock at the door.

"Lana, you know the routine. Didn't I tell you to stop knocking and just come in? It's not like I have anything to hide," I say, pulling off my underwear and lying stark naked on the bed.

"Okay."

'Wait… This voice. Damn.'

Before I can react, the door swings open, and an unexpected figure enters—wearing a short, black lace nightgown.

My mouth drops open in shock, but I quickly regain my composure and cover myself with the bedsheet.

"Lady Alvida."

"Oh... I-I'm sorry about that," Alvida stammers as she notices me covering up. She turns toward the door, clearly intent on leaving.

"Wait! Don't go! It's fine," I say quickly, stopping her. At the same time, I hastily put on my underwear and regain my composure. As I look at Alvida closely, I notice she's wearing only a black nightgown, through which her protruding nipples are visible.

But what really surprises me is that she's not wearing her usual hat, giving me a full view of her face and slightly elongated ears. It's not like I haven't seen her face before, but it was always brief.

Tonight, however, Alvida stands before me with her entire appearance exposed. Her white porcelain skin glows as if she had bathed in milk.

'Milk, indeed.'

"I-I'm sorry for coming in unexpectedly and meeting you like this," Alvida apologizes, giving a slight bow.

"It's fine. Why did you come to see me, though?"

"Well… I wanted to talk about the issue we had. I couldn't apologize earlier because the Duke left sooner than expected," Alvida replies, avoiding my gaze.

'As expected, the dinner was orchestrated by Mom.'

"Please, take a seat—"

Before I can finish, Alvida sits down on my bed, her smooth, milky lap exposed even further.

"..."

'I meant for her to sit in the chair. But this... She clearly wants something. Her dress explains everything.'

I don't let myself become a "soy boy" and quickly sit on the bed beside her, our bodies just a foot apart. From this close, I can smell a lavender-like scent emanating from her.

Alvida, sitting next to me, appears restless, shifting and fidgeting in her seat before she begins to speak.

"I'm sorry for everything that happened between us. I didn't expect it to turn out like that. As a teacher, it's my duty to guide you correctly, but even intelligent beings make mistakes. That's why I'm here, asking for your forgiveness and hoping you'll return to your magic lessons with me," Alvida says, turning her gaze toward me.

I also turn my gaze towards her, and for a moment, our eyes meet. But she quickly looks away, and I could swear I catch a faint blush on her face.

"I've heard you, Lady Alvida. I'll resume my magic lessons tomorrow. I also want to apologize for the inappropriate things I said before. I truly regret hurting you." I bow slightly as I speak.

Alvida doesn't respond verbally, only giving a small nod. She stays seated on my bed, her silence lingering, before reaching for the book I was reading earlier.

'If I bring up what we talked about, will that make me seem weak? A soy boy?'

If that's the case, I will just…
