"Graduation ceremony... Once this is over, I won't be a high school student anymore. Many of my classmates seem to be feeling the weight of it, with some saying tearful goodbyes and others crying out of sadness. Recently, due to global warming, there have been times when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom before the graduation ceremony, or conversely, the ceremony happens before the blossoms bloom. This year, though, the flowers have bloomed perfectly in time for graduation season."
"Ah, there you are."
"Hm?"
While I was standing by the school gate, staring blankly at the cherry blossoms, Asakawa-san and her friend, Nonohara-san, came over. The only people I really got close to during high school were Asakawa-san and Nonohara-san.
"I'm gonna miss graduation so much... Nanami and Kisaragi-kun aren't even going to university."
"Is it really that bad?"
"To be honest, graduation hasn't really hit me that hard."
