Comfortable?
Sheridan Isolde just wanted to find a quiet place to rest for a while.
But he knew that was pure wishful thinking.
"Sheridan Isolde, do you want to live?"
Julius Reed squatted down and asked softly.
"Yes!"
Without any hesitation, Sheridan Isolde's head bobbed like a woodpecker's.
He wanted desperately to live!
Here in Gonzalez City, surrounded by a bunch of desperados, Sheridan Isolde was truly frightened.
"You want to live? That's easy."
With a wave of Julius Reed's hand, a staff member immediately brought over a chair.
"Call your family, pay the ransom."
He sat on the chair with one leg crossed over the other, and handed the phone on the bed to Sheridan Isolde.
"The phone has no signal..."
Sheridan Isolde hadn't finished speaking when he saw the phone's signal was restored to full strength.
"But just now..."
Though he had taken a few blows to the head from steel pipes, he was not yet delirious.
