Synopsis
Saori Kitagawa, a lethal assassin from another world, wakes up within the body of Quimora, an innocent young girl. The moment she slips into Quimora's being, she inherits her memories and assumes the leadership of a secretive organization, the Veiled Syndicate, dedicated to retrieving the revival stones and killing a certain goddess, the propagator of Entropy. Her frail body restricts her previous life’s skills, which only limits her to clever strategy thinking. Across her journey, she will encounter various conflicting organizations that will hinder the race against the stones. Quimora, who was once a convict, will search her way towards real freedom… which will soon turn into the quest to seek the truth. Saori delves into the world of the unknown, looking for the dearest person she forgot in her life. Writing Style inspirations and the slow-paced drama was based on Asato Asato’s 86-Eight Six. Chapter 1 - Forgotten Vision (Prologue)

I forgot… A vision…

Beyond an abandoned skyscraper, heavy raindrops smashed onto the huge cockpit, mixing homogeneously with the crimson blood from hundreds of bodies surrounding me. I kneeled and wept on the floor, carrying the body of a lifeless boy who shared the identical pigment of the strokes of my raven-like hair.

I know him, but I don't remember him. I should've known he was the only one I held dear so much in my life, however…

I forgot…

I never heard anything except a loud sound, a flat line of a patient nearly dying, accompanied by vibrations of my trembling throat. Even the splashes of raindrops didn't resonate through my eardrums. Only the fragrance of lingering rotten bodies, a product of my uncontrollable and inevitable vengeance, crawled into my nostrils.

The nerves popping out of my hand informed me of my age, far older than I remembered. I knew this memory didn't exist… and I believed it. However, everything felt real as the open wounds on my limbs and the gunshot wounds on my back stung directly to my spine.

The rain hid the tears trailing down my pale face. I gritted my teeth and hissed, staring with menacing eyes and furrowing eyebrows at the man shrouded with a cloak who appeared nearly on the platform's edge.

I know him, but his name… I forgot.

Rage drowned me in despair. My heartbeat rushed, ushered by the heat of pain pulsing into my brain. While endlessly weeping, the agony from what I felt overridden the bleeding that tried to drag me down the ground.

I wanted to kill him. But the reason… I forgot.

The cloaked man, who was once an assassin who trained me to perfection for years, walked before me and pointed a 45 caliber on my forehead. I wanted to fight back, yet the remaining strength already left my body. This shouldn't have happened; I don't know why.

Before pulling the trigger, I tried to read his last murmur from his lips. Even so, I can't discern what he meant. I remembered voicing out my thoughts, but its context completely erased its mark from my memory.

I never heard the loud ignition from the gunpowder behind his pellets. I only perceived a bullet burrowing through my skull, in which I flinched back, lying on the ground, staring at the child's body. Even if my mouth was stunned wide open, I never felt anything but regret.

I lost my senses as my vision blurred, gradually overtaken by blood and darkness. I wanted to stand, clench my fist, and return the favor before I left the world. Despite that, the universe was never meant to be fair.

Before I lost my last breath, I made a wish…

However…

I forgot…
