Chapter 10 - Not just our Leader but god"

Ignis listened intently, her eyes reflecting the wisdom of ages as she ponder through all the possibilities

"War," she spoke with in a low murmur tone. "A dangerous game it is indeed, but to be honest, the world is already a battlefield, Zeus. It always has been, and it always will be."

Zeus frown as he is indeed aware of his fact too, but he doesn't want to follow the predestined path. he wished to force a oath for himself other than the one already preset for him, "what if there is another way?" Zeus asked, his voice filled with hope. "What if there is a path to peace?"

Ignis's raised her eyes to me his, her gaze softened, a flicker of sympathy in her ancient eyes as if she could under his thought.

"Peace is a fragile thing, Zeus. It is a delicate balance, easily disrupted. And in a world where power is the ultimate currency, peace is often the first casualty."

"But what of the prophecy?" Zeus pressed. "What of the children of Aurora? Could they not be the key to a new era, an era of peace and harmony?"

Ignis's expression turned enigmatic, her eyes reflecting the swirling chaos of the storm inside her. "The prophecy is just a guide, Zeus, not a map. It offers a glimpse of possibilities, but the path is all yours to choose."

Zeus sighed bitterly, he was hoping to get a more direction answer and solution by tapping into her well of knowledge.

"weren't you here before the world was formed, or were the records wrong?" Zeus asked, his spirit down cast. "You saw the creation of this world, the rise and fall of civilizations. and this is the wisdom you offer me?"

Ignis's ancient eyes seemed to pierce his soul. "I have seen much, Zeus. I have seen the rise and fall of empires, the birth and death of gods.

I have seen the darkness that lurks within the light, in the heart of every being, and the light that can overcome it

I tell you, all this were born and steam from the resolved, determined heart if those who felt they can't allow things go the way they are anymore

only those bold enough to swim against the current irrespective of how many time or how far the wave pushes them

they didn't give up until the achieved their desired change, do you think they could have pulled through if they were relying on the push of others instead of their own push?"

"And what have you learned so far?" Zeus gave up any attempt of arguing, it's baseless when the facts of her words are irrefutable. "What wisdom can you share with me?"

Ignis's gaze softened, "I have learned the world woven with threads of light and dark, of hope and despair. And the choice of which thread to follow is entirely dependent on the individual."

Zeus stood in silence, his mind racing, his heart filled with a sense of conflict. He could follow the path of war, the path of power, the path that Hades had laid out before him.

Or he could seek a different path, a path of peace, a path that might lead to a different future.

"The choice is yours, Zeus," Ignis whispers a reminder, her voice filled with a sense of finality. "The world is waiting to see what path you will decide to thread" after which the turned the other side returning to a slumbering state as each if her movement shock the cave

Zeus turned away, his gaze fixed on the path leading outside the cave to the raging storm outside a distance away.

He had to make a choice, a choice that would shape not only his own destiny but the destiny of the world itself.

He closed his eyes, his mind filled with conflictual elements annd throught, the echoes of Hades's words, and the ancient wisdom of Igris.

after a long amount of time past with him rampaging through his own stormy mind, he sudden have a clear gave when he opened his eyes once again

He now knew what he had to do, but the path ahead is still shrouded in uncertainty. He was the King of Gods, but even he was not immune to the forces of fate.

its now his choice to lead how fate play out, either by being at the short end if the stick or the long end. either way fate can't be stop.

.....

Deep within a dark forest stood an Obsidian Citadel, a fortress of ancient power and arcane knowledge, standing defiant against the encroaching darkness surrounding it.

Its obsidian walls, shimmering with an otherworldly glow, reflect the faintest glimmer of light, creating an unsettling contrast with the deep, inky blackness of its interior.

Twisted trees with branches reaching towards the sky like grasping claws, are shrouded in a perpetual twilight.

Bioluminescent fungi and plants glow with an eerie, otherworldly light, casting an unsettling glow on the surrounding landscape. Obsidian streams, reflecting the Citadel's walls, run black as night.

This forest is not a place of peace. Shadow beasts, born from the darkness and infused with arcane energy, lurk in the shadows. Crystal golems, their bodies shimmering with an ethereal glow, patrol the forest's perimeter, protecting the Citadel from intruders.

Within its obsidian walls, a council of formidable beings gathered, their presence radiating an aura of ancient power and chilling majesty.

The Obsidian Sovereign, an Ancient Lich whose skeletal form shimmered with an otherworldly glow, presided over the meeting, his voice a low, resonant hum that echoed through the grand chamber.

"Thank you all for coming in such short notice," his gaze sweeping across the assembly, "we have a matter of grave importance to discuss. A new arrival has joined our ranks, one whose presence holds the potential to reshape our destiny."

A hush fell over the chamber as his words hung in the air, pregnant with meaning. The lady from earlier with hair is also present in this meeting and beside her is the cuddle housing Davis tiny figure.

she is known as Crimson Bloodmist, a Bloodborn by race and with her long, flowing crimson hair and eyes that shimmered with an infernal glow, leaned forward, her voice a low, seductive purr.

"A new arrival? Tell us, my lord, who is this being?"

The Ancient lich almost choke from her seductive yet play demeanor. "be serious for once Blood, now it's not the time to joke around

she pout at his sharp but took a more serious expression, knowing the importance of this meeting and its effect in a grand scale

The Obsidian Sovereign's skeletal hand gestured as the cuddle beside bloodmist rise into the air for everyone to see and within, a tiny figure lay soundly asleep, his skin pale as alabaster

His sharp, angular features with a hint of elven grace. High cheekbones, a strong jawline, and a slightly pointed chin

Long, flowing silver hair that falls over his shoulder, swaddled in silken robes. everyone had look of confusion and curiosity.

they were wondering why obsidian would bring a child to the citadel and most importantly what his connection with this kid is

Having anticipated thus reaction, obsidian wasn't surprise."This, my fellow envoy's" Obsidian declared in a demanding and commander tone, "is our new leader, the one destined to guide us to greatness. The ultimate boss of the Obsidian Citadel, Our god Valkyrie"

A wave of murmurs rippled through the council. A Shadow Demon cloaked in swirling shadows, his crimson eyes gleaming with a mixture of amusement and suspicion, spoke up first.

"A baby? Our leader? Obsidian surely you jest. This child is barely capable of holding its own head up, let alone leading us to glory.

has our great citadel falling to such a state you need to rub such insulting on our face by telling us our god has come to us as this child?"

A Lady known as White Guardian stirring at the child with obsession Ann's excitement frown as the words of the other, her delicate face with long, flowing white hair and piercing blue eyes, adorned in crystalline armor shimmering with an ethereal glow contour into anger

she cut in sharply, with a sharp commanding tone. "Architect, you speaks with such casual lack of respect. Obsidian has spoken, and his word is law.

irrespective of our individual take on this matter, his words still reveal the mind if out god and if he say this child is our god

then we must accept this child as our leader, regardless of our personal opinions."

"tsk, tsk, tsk. I'm not surprise of your stands on this Crystal, we all know how obsessed you are with anything concerning our god

but it beats my imagination how you can be so blinded to accept this things as the god you are so fascinated of

I expected you to be the one to retort way more since it would be blaspheming to accord this child as not just our leader but god"
