And the worst thing was, he could do nothing about it but watch dumbly as Jidenna swaggered out of the class proudly, closing the door behind him.

Cheng Yuan stared at the pile of homework, his eyes narrowing in on Jidenna's own.

For a moment, Cheng Yuan was tempted to grab the book, throw it to the floor, and stomp on it to his heart's satisfaction, but he paused.

His rationality barely stopped him from committing such a childish but effective act.

That would be a stupid thing to do.

But that didn't stop Cheng Yuan from licking his lips, wishing it wasn't.

Deep in his mind, he knew it was right, but it was exactly because he knew that he became more vexed.

Angry at how annoyingly right it was.

It was a simple logic, but currently, Cheng Yuan, in his anger, didn't want to think about it.

"If you don't like the course monitor you're still holding. Do it."

Those words were what made him effectively back off.
