Aaron woke up to the soft hum of the city below his hotel window. Sunlight filtered through the half-drawn curtains, illuminating the minimalist design of his suite. He stretched, feeling the weight of the last few days' intensity still lingering in his muscles. Despite the pressure of everything that was happening with the company, he knew he needed to take a break. It was his last day in New York, after all, and he hadn't had a chance to explore the city. He couldn't leave without seeing some of its iconic sights.
After a quick shower, he grabbed his phone to check the group chat. The usual flood of messages greeted him.
Ron (Group Chat):
"Morning, Aaron."
Oliver:
"HR postings are up. Got a few bites already. One candidate looks promising—ex-manager from Warner."
Liam:
"Working on the company's web interface today. Should have a beta by tomorrow."
