"Kill them Jasmin!" Tomoe cried, grabbing the arm of the adventurer.
The adventurer in question was a tall man with red hair, he had two blades behind his back and was dressed in a rather unfamiliar manner than the world Lumin knew.
Same went for the adventurers that surrounded the place.
"M..iss Tomoe, what are you talking about? Master would nev-"
The adventurers gasped out loud in shock.
"A talking skeleton?! Pfft hahaha!"
"Freaking freak is trying to use mind games on us!"
"Boss, let's kill it right, such an ugly thing, hahahaha!!!".
For the first time since her awakening, Alpha felt true fear, the sound of multiple people laughing at her while they pointed… sunk her deep into the darkness.
She couldn't say a word back, her anxiety rose with every word they threw at her.
"Enough guys," Jasmin raised his hand, and they all went mute.
He then looked at Tomoe and Anna, "Are you sure this was the creature?".
"Yes, It was! It called itself Lumin!" Tomoe pointed at the Blop.
'This small monster killed a human?' Jasmin looked at the Blop again, 'But why didn't it kill Anna and Tomoe? She had been sending us signals with her magic, that is the only reason we know to find her here… but still.. this creature looks nothing like a threat… or am i…'
Jasmin words choked him when he suddenly noticed the dark powering energy surrounding the Blop's body.
He immediately leaped back, pulling out his blade.
"The hell?... Now I see… you took an innocent form to decisive people, and when they let their guards down, you killed them, is that it?" Jasmin uttered.
Lumin remained quiet.
"As an adventurer, I can't let this go, for the death of a fellow human, you must die! Kill them!!!" Jasmin yelled.
The joy in the adventurer's voices as they yelled before each one began to move closer to Lumin and Alpha was palpable.
Alpha had fallen to her knees, her hand on her head as she whispered over to herself.
"It's not my fault."
"It's not my fault".
'I expected this to happen. Humans can be predictable at times. But what I didn't expect was for her to bring her whole squad waiting for us on the outside.'
Lumin uttered in his mind, the adventurers growing closer.
'I guess some things never really change, even if you get reincarnated, people will still be scum at the other side. I can't blame them, the bitch managed to get some word out. What will be will be, and If that's the case… I will decide on what grounds it will be.'
Lumin's body began to glow.
'I am not evil, neither am I good at heart, I reject them both. If they wish to kill me… then I'll kill every single one of them…without a second thought!!!'.
It happened so swiftly.
A slash in the air, and three adventurers fell to the ground, their heads severed from their necks.
Everyone paused, their eyes fixed on the dead people.
"What the hell-"
Jasmin was about to speak when a huge force of fire rushed towards him from the Blop.
He acted immediately, pushing the girls to the side before pulling out his blades and making an X slash to divide the flames using his magic.
'It can use magic?!' Jasmine thought to himself, the flames sneering at his arm.
Before he could think of his next move, the Blop was already in the air, right in front of him.
Slash!
Jasmine leaped back, blood trailing on the floor as he looked to see both his arms had been sliced off.
"Ahhhhh!" He screamed, falling to his knees, his face hitched with fear.
The Blop, still hovering in the air, began to kill off the rest of the adventurers trying to run away.
Anna and Tomoe, who had seen the outcome of the battle, knew they needed to get away from the scene before they were noticed.
They ran as fast as they could, their feet speeding on the ground.
"Hurry, hurry!!!" Tomoe muttered as she ran, holding Anna's hand.
All of a sudden, a gash of wind hit her from behind. That was when she noticed, the weight on her hand had reduced.
She turned to check, only to see she was holding only Anna's arm, blood and tissues leaking from the end.
Her eyes widened in horror when she noticed Alpha was standing behind her, holding Anna by the head.
Anna already has tears on her face, but for some reason, she couldn't cry nor scream, even Tomoe was frozen in fear.
"Am I really that ugly?" Alpha asked with a shaky voice.
"Does my lord think I'm ugly too? Is this because I'm made of bones? It's not fair, it's not fair."
Tomoe looked at Anna and noticed Alpha's bony fingers were sinking into Anna's skull.
"It's really not fair! Why do you get to look pretty and still lie against my lord! I am loyal to him, I should look pretty, not you!"
Alpha's fingers dug deeper into Anna's head, to the point where Anna's eyes had rolled over and blood was leaking from every hole opening on her face.
Tomoe was so frozen in fear that she could feel her legs giving up on her.
"Ah yes, that's it. If I do have skin, maybe I'll look prettier… maybe then master wouldn't have been hypnotized by your beauty and helped you…yes, he needs only me, no one will betray him again, no one will hurt him again… because I'll be there! Always!".
Red thread like energy networked from Alpha's body and began to enter Anna's body, draining her life force.
Or so it seemed at first.
The more Anna's skin began to rot, the more Alpha's body was changing.
Muscles began to form around her bony structure, veins constructed, until eventually, Anna was nothing but broken bones on the ground.
And Alpha, was now covered with muscles and tissues, although not all her body had this change- hence she knew what to do next.
She looked at Tomoe, her eyes glowing red with hunger.
"You will never betray him again!!!" Alpha yelled before launching herself forward.
