The Sovereign Land is divided into three parts: the lower layer, where most smaller villages reside, places like the Raku Raku Village and Elvert Village.
The middle layer was mainly for travelers. It wasn't all that large, but it was filled with grass and little else. No one lived here due to it being an ideal habitat for plants and animals.
The upper layer, the only part of the Sovereign Land given a name, was called Ramose. It was closer to many kingdoms and was said to be the former resting ground of a demon king who once terrorized the world.
This place was where most of the wealthy nobles came to do despicable things—slave trading and many other atrocities—but the true ruler of Ramose was said to be a witch, or so the rumors went.
Near both the upper and lower layers was the Kingdom of Telver, and every month, the Duke would send knights to collect taxes from the people in the lower layer, a payment for the kingdom's protection.
