"Burn."
Beta set everything before her in flames. The blue raging fire sneered at the skins of the goblins as they dropped to the ground, burning to a crisp.
The goblins all stepped back, their faces hitched with fear as they watched their fellow members die before their very eyes.
'I expected her to kill a single goblin, not a whole freaking group.'
Lumin looked to his front, and noticed the Goblin king was angry. He had gotten down from his throne and was heading towards him and Beta.
'Welp, at least we were able to assert our dominance as intended. Now, the next part depends on how stupid they want to be'.
"Alpha, I'll be back, you stay here." He spoke out loud.
—Silence.
"My lord, if you need me to kill them all right now, you just let me know. Please do not hesitate. If they try to convince you that they are pretty, please let me know immediately, don't…hesitate my Lord." Alpha uttered, but her eyes were still fixed on the Goblin king headed towards them.
"R–right." Lumin responded, a bit nervous from her speech but he quickly overlooked it as he leaped down from her grasps.
At the exact same moment, Beta had canceled out her skill, watching as the blue flames scorched the ground and bodies.
Suddenly-
"Who dares attack my people?!!!"
The Goblin king spoke, his voice shaking the very ground.
Lumin, now crawling towards the man, waved his tentacles, not a single goblin was dumb enough to touch him.
Not because they were afraid, but because it was obvious their leader wanted to be the one to kill the intruders.
"Hey there big guy, I know I know, we killed like twenty of your people. But the way I see it, we could have killed more, but I'm willing to let you leave my land for us if you and your people find somewhere else to live…uhn? Sounds perfectly reasonable considering I didn't–"
"Creature disgusting!"
—Baam!
The Goblin King smashed Lumin's body to the ground with his foot.
'Welp… I tried, but I can't help what happens next.'
Almost immediately, Alpha had already appeared right in front of the Goblin king, her eyes glowing red as her fist was coated with energy.
With a single punch to the face, she sent the Goblin flying and crashing on the throne while also falling on his women.
Lumin's body sprung up, his voice loud as he yelled, "Attack!!!" With a comedic-like voice.
Isla, who from the moment Beta had attacked had already aimed her arrow at the goblins, began to fire at them.
With her Unique skill, Phantom quiver, Isla was capable of creating ethereal arrows from pure mage, allowing them to fire arrows endlessly without the need for a physical quiver. Added that she could perceive minute details with pinpoint accuracy.
Phewwww~
She rapidly sent her arrows speeding towards the goblins, dropping them to the ground in a matter of seconds.
Simultaneously, Ruxy and Terra leaped down from the trees, landing in the middle of the goblins who were charging towards Lumin.
Ruxy had the Unique skill called Kealis– The Arcane, which allowed her to use pure arcane energy, a higher tier form of magic that allowed her to create energy constructs.
Terra also had her Unique skill called Chaos Harbinger. This skill allowed her to bend the elemental forces, creating unstable spells that randomly explode, distort space, or wrap reality, allowing her to adapt to all types of attacks on the fly.
The moment they were balanced, Terra clenched her fist with a smile as an unstable amount of energy began to form around her fist.
And with a grunt, she punched the air in front of her, sending a powerful beam of chaos magic towards the goblins.
The ground imploded as the bodies of the goblins went flying all around the place, blood and limbs raining on the ground.
At the same time, Ruxy acted, constructing two blue glowing blades and going head on with the goblins charging towards her.
"Lord Lumin, please step away from there." Said Lyra as she picked the Blop up from the ground and held it close to her chest.
Melfi and Pimo stood behind her, watching as the rest took on the goblins— in a one sided battle.
Even Alpha was completely dominating the Goblin king, her body growing even stronger with magic.
'I wasn't planning to join the battle anyway, this was a good way to check if they would still be afraid to fight once it came down to it… I must say, they didn't disappoint.' Lumin felt proud watching them.
In a span of a few minutes, Terra, Ruxy, and Isla had cleared over 60 goblins, all by themselves.
All that was left was the Goblin King who Alpha had pinned to the ground, raining continuous punches to his face, and the female goblins, cowering with fear at the side.
Lumin turned his gaze to the female goblins, 'I guess we have to kill them too, or are they no threat?'.
[Although the female goblins are no threat, they are both sexual and asexual beings and could reproduce on their own. Goblins are known to harbor deep resentments, they could easily start a rebellion.]
'In other words, I have to kill them off.'
Lumin sighed.
[Not necessarily.]
'Eh?'
[Goblins also value their lives more than anything, once their king is killed, they will most likely beg you for mercy, offering to serve you in exchange for you to spare their life.]
'Okay?'
[But that will only be an inconvenience as they would still prove to be trouble. But, if you agree to mate with them, making one your concubine, in order to become the Goblin queen, they would fight amongst themselves, the one to win gets to mate with you, and one that has happened, their loyalty towards you is certain.]
'Ain't no way you're telling me to mate with a goblin. I mean, they look…different from the rest, but still–'
