As they walked out of the café, Lily glanced at Samuel with a hint of concern in her eyes. She hesitated for a moment before speaking.
"By the way," she said, turning to him. "Are you sure you haven't been followed? You know you're supposed to be acting as James right now."
Samuel's steps slowed slightly. He met her gaze, his expression calm but firm. "Yeah, I'm sure. After I confessed to Zinnia at the hospital last time, they stopped tracking me."
Lily raised an eyebrow. "Why would they stop? Aren't they worried you might slip up?"
"They're confident I'm doing the missions they've given me," Samuel replied, his tone steady. "They know what's at stake. My family's lives are still on the line if I fail. I mean No. 13 family."
Timmy, walking beside them, frowned. "And they haven't checked on you at all? That seems… careless on their part."
