Anastasia stepped into the café, her face brightening unexpectedly when she spotted Daniel seated in the corner. She hadn't noticed the group of young women whispering and taking pictures of him, completely unaware of the attention surrounding her.
"Daniel!" she called out, a smile spreading across her face as she approached his table. "Sorry, I was held up. There was an accident at the junction near our neighbourhood."
Daniel's heart raced, caught between relief at seeing her and anxiety over the attention they were drawing. "I just got here too," he replied, trying to keep his voice calm as he adjusted his cap lower over his eyes. "I wasn't sure what you wanted, so I didn't order yet. Latte? Americano?"
"Do they have something like a green tea frappuccino?" she asked, leaning in and half-whispering.
