"No. I'm sorry," Daniel said, his gaze dropping to the floor. "I did go to Ashton, asking about Bella, but he refused to answer, like it didn't matter."
Anastasia mumbled softly, almost to herself, "She was there… last night. They were talking about something, but I felt dizzy, and not long after, I think I collapsed." Her voice was weak as she recalled the events at the hotel.
"Talking about something?" Daniel's eyes focused on her, worry lining his face as he noticed how pale she still looked.
"Hmm…" She nodded slightly, "Something about a deal."
Daniel, seeing the frown deepen on Anastasia's face, instinctively reached for her hand but hesitated. Instead, he kept his eyes on her, voice soft but steady. "I'll do everything I can to find her. You don't need to stress about this right now. You're still recovering."
