"Understood, sir," the Special Combat Team members, including Li Minjie, replied loudly in unison.
Since Ye Feng was their temporary commander, they had to address him as 'sir,' as per the military protocol that could not be breached.
"Move out!" After giving clear instructions, Ye Feng shouted loudly and led everyone charging into the base.
"Split up and search, but watch out for ambushes." The base was intricately constructed; at one of the crossroads inside, Ye Feng had to split his men, a move fraught with danger but one that would save time.
After searching several rooms, Ye Feng felt something was amiss because the inside of the base was too clean. It seemed like the enemy had already retreated.
