Li Xiaoqiang walked into the kitchen, ready to cook with Xia Ke'er. He very much enjoyed this down-to-earth lifestyle.

As Li Xiaoqiang washed, he replied, "What can't a kid from the countryside do? I remember when I was young, during the busy farming season, mom would work in the fields and I'd stay home cooking and stir-frying. In the countryside, we didn't have rice cookers to steam rice with the press of a button like you city folks do."
