Finally, Ye Chen stepped out of the off-road vehicle, his face brimming with the pride of spring.
Qin Lan watched Ye Chen leave, too stunned to utter a word.
This guy was too bad, not knowing how to sweet-talk a woman at all, Qin Lan wasn't happy in the slightest.
"What's with that look? Do you want more?" Ye Chen teased with a provocative tone.
"You bastard!" Qin Lan really lost out today; this guy was all take and no give.
"Say one more word about me, and I'll bully you even more!" Ye Chen chuckled.
"You're infuriating! I'm going to run you over with my car!" Qin Lan slammed on the accelerator, and the off-road vehicle roared, charging at Ye Chen.
Ye Chen didn't move because the off-road vehicle made a piercing skidding sound; Qin Lan naturally couldn't bear to hit Ye Chen and instead turned around and fled.
The events of the day had been too surreal; Qin Lan found herself unable to face Ye Chen any longer, wanting only to escape and take some time to process everything.
