Boss Lin's venue locations, where the goods were hidden, and how many people were inside had all been thoroughly disclosed to Ye Qing by Scar Lee. This made it exceedingly easy for Ye Qing to raid these venues. In less than ten minutes, he had injured twelve of Boss Lin's henchmen and flushed the goods down the drain, also managing to inadvertently injure two other patrons in the private rooms.
It could be said that Ye Qing had thoroughly smashed up this venue of Boss Lin's because customers getting beaten up in a venue was a serious taboo that affected the establishment's reputation. Once word got out, the nightlife business would be doomed.
Ye Qing's raiding of the venues was twofold: first, to gradually eliminate Boss Lin's men, and second, to slowly uproot Boss Lin's influence. He wanted to drive Boss Lin to ruin and leave him with nothing.
