Ye Qing's "corpse" was wrapped up and sent directly to the crematory.
Several workers with ulterior motives forged various certificates and brought Ye Qing over. For safety, they followed the process closely, wanting to watch Ye Qing turn to ashes with their own eyes.
Ye Qing's "corpse" was placed on a cart and pushed inside, where the crematory staff, following routine, pulled back the white cloth to check on Ye Qing's condition.
"No need to look, it's definitely him," a coroner said urgently. "He's got an infectious disease. We need to burn him quickly to prevent any spread."
The staff member glanced at him and said, "What about an infectious disease? We still have to be sure, or who's responsible if something goes wrong?"
As he spoke, the staff member reached out to check Ye Qing's breathing.
"Are you afraid we professionals could make a mistake?" a coroner said impatiently.
