Back at the hotel, Lin Tian sat on the bed and let out a long sigh.
Lin Tian looked down at his left chest. The bloodstains on the white T-shirt had been washed clean by him, but some faint red marks could still be seen.
Within this pool of bloodstains, there was a hole the size of a little finger on the white T-shirt.
That was exactly where the bullet had struck.
Reaching out, he gently touched the hole in the shirt, Lin Tian remained silent.
"Have I been too arrogant?" Lin Tian mumbled to himself as he looked down. There was a hint of confusion in his eyes.
The gunshot today had given Lin Tian a great shock.
If he hadn't snapped back to reality in time, if he hadn't tensed up his muscles, that bullet might have really penetrated his heart.
He could have died!
He wasn't invincible after all. It was fine facing a single gun today, but what if he had to face seven or eight guns, or a machine gun firing at him?
At this thought, Lin Tian shuddered.
