Part 3
Sophia's hand fit perfectly in Marcus's, his touch igniting a spark within her. She felt a rush of excitement, mixed with fear, as she let him lead her away from the group.
As they walked, the night air seemed to vibrate with tension. Sophia knew she was taking a risk, but she couldn't resist Marcus's allure.
"Who are you, Marcus?" Sophia asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Marcus smiled, his eyes glinting with mystery. "I'm someone who knows your secrets, Sophia. And I'm here to set you free."
Sophia's heart skipped a beat as Marcus's words echoed Reginald's. But there was something different about Marcus, something that drew her in.
As they reached the edge of the garden, a sleek black motorcycle waited, its engine purring softly. Marcus swung his leg over the bike, his eyes locked on Sophia.
"Get on, Sophia. Let's leave the past behind."
Sophia hesitated, her heart racing. And then, she made her choice...
She swung her leg over the bike, feeling the rush of wind as Marcus accelerated into the night.
As they sped away, Sophia knew she was leaving more than just Reginald behind. She was leaving her old life, her old self.
But what lay ahead, she had no idea...
As they rode through the night, Sophia felt a rush of exhilaration. The wind whipped through her hair, and Marcus's arms wrapped tightly around her.
They finally stopped at a secluded beachside villa, the waves crashing against the shore. Marcus led Sophia inside, where a warm fire crackled in the fireplace.
"Welcome to my home," Marcus said, his eyes gleaming with intensity. "You're safe here, Sophia."
Sophia felt a sense of belonging, as if she'd finally found her haven. But she knew she couldn't stay hidden forever.
"What about Reginald?" Sophia asked, her voice barely above a whisper. "He'll find me."
Marcus's expression turned dark. "Let him try. You're under my protection now, Sophia."
As they stood there, the tension between them grew. Sophia knew she was drawn to Marcus, but she couldn't trust him yet.
Suddenly, a noise echoed outside. Marcus's head jerked up, his eyes narrowing.
"What was that?" Sophia asked, her heart racing.
Marcus smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Just a visitor. Don't worry, Sophia. You're safe with me."
But as he turned to leave, Sophia saw a flicker of uncertainty in his eyes. And she wondered...who was this visitor, and what did they want??
As Marcus left to investigate the noise, Sophia's mind raced with questions. Who was this visitor? And what did they want?
She tried to shake off the feeling of unease, but it only intensified as she heard footsteps approaching.
Marcus entered with a woman, her piercing blue eyes fixed on Sophia.
"This is Ava," Marcus said, his voice neutral. "An old friend."
Ava's gaze swept over Sophia, her expression unreadable. "So, you're the one," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Reginald's little plaything."
Sophia bristled at the tone, but Marcus intervened before she could respond.
"Ava, that's enough," he warned, his eyes flashing with anger.
Ava smirked, her eyes glinting with amusement. "Oh, I'm just getting started."
As the tension between them grew, Sophia knew she had to defend herself. But Ava's next words left her reeling...
"You think you can escape Reginald's grasp so easily?" Ava sneered. "He'll find you, Sophia. And when he does, you'll wish you'd never crossed him...
Sophia stood tall, her heart racing with fear. "I'm not afraid of Reginald," she lied, trying to sound braver than she felt.
Ava laughed, the sound cold and mirthless. "You should be," she said, her eyes glinting with malice. "Reginald will stop at nothing to get what he wants. And what he wants is you, Sophia."
Marcus stepped forward, his eyes flashing with anger. "Ava, that's enough," he growled. "You're not going to threaten Sophia in my home."
Ava's smile widened, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Oh, I'm just getting started," she purred. "You see, Sophia, Marcus here has a secret. A secret that could destroy him."
Sophia's eyes flicked to Marcus, her mind racing with questions. What secret could Ava be talking about?
"Tell her, Marcus," Ava taunted, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Tell her about your little obsession."
Marcus's face darkened, his eyes narrowing. "Ava, shut up," he snarled.
But Ava just laughed, the sound echoing through the room. "Oh, this is going to be fun," she purred...
Ava's words hung in the air, leaving Sophia with more questions than answers. What secret was Ava talking about? And what did it have to do with Marcus?
Marcus's face was dark, his eyes flashing with anger. "Ava, you're playing with fire," he warned.
But Ava just smiled, her eyes glinting with amusement. "Oh, I'm just getting started," she purred. "You see, Sophia, Marcus has a bit of a reputation. He's known for his...obsessions."
Sophia's eyes flicked to Marcus, her mind racing with questions. What kind of obsessions?
Ava leaned in, her voice dropping to a whisper. "He's obsessed with saving people, Sophia. And he'll stop at nothing to protect them."
Sophia's eyes widened as the truth dawned on her. Marcus's intensity, his possessiveness...it all made sense now.
But before she could process it further, Ava dropped another bombshell...
"And his latest obsession, Sophia, is you.
Sophia's mind reeled as Ava's words hung in the air. Marcus's obsession with her? It couldn't be true.
But as she looked into Marcus's eyes, she saw the truth there. The intensity, the possessiveness...it all made sense now.
"You're obsessed with me?" Sophia asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Marcus's face darkened, his eyes flashing with anger. "Ava, shut up," he snarled.
But Ava just smiled, her eyes glinting with amusement. "Oh, this is getting good," she purred.
Sophia took a step back, her heart racing with fear. She didn't know what to make of Marcus's obsession.
But before she could process it further, Marcus closed the distance between them, his eyes burning with intensity.
"I'll do whatever it takes to protect you, Sophia," he growled. "Whatever it takes."
Sophia's heart skipped a beat as Marcus's words echoed in her mind. She didn't know if she should be afraid or thrilled.
And then, Ava spoke up again...
"Oh, this is going to be fun," she purred. "A love triangle, how delicious."
Sophia's eyes widened as Ava's words hung in the air. A love triangle? What was Ava talking about?
But before she could ask, Marcus's eyes flashed with anger. "Ava, shut up," he snarled.
Ava just smiled, her eyes glinting with amusement. "Oh, don't be so uptight, Marcus," she purred. "Sophia deserves to know the truth."
Sophia's heart raced with anticipation. What truth?
"Tell her, Marcus," Ava taunted. "Tell her about Alexander."
Sophia's eyes flicked to Marcus, her mind racing with questions. What did Alexander have to do with anything?
Marcus's face darkened, his eyes narrowing. "Ava, you're playing with fire," he warned.
But Ava just laughed, the sound echoing through the room. "Oh, this is getting good," she purred.
And then, Sophia remembered the way Alexander had looked at her, the way he had touched her...
"Alexander?" Sophia asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Marcus's eyes flashed with anger, but Ava just smiled...
"Oh, yes," she purred. "Alexander is in love with you, Sophia. And Marcus here is obsessed with you."

_Part 26_
Just as Ava's words hung in the air, the door burst open and Reginald strode in, his eyes blazing with anger.
"Sophia, you're coming with me," he growled, his voice dripping with possessiveness.
But before he could reach her, Alexander appeared out of nowhere, his eyes locked on Sophia with a fierce intensity.
"I don't think so, Reginald," Alexander said, his voice low and menacing.
Reginald sneered at Alexander. "And who's going to stop me?"
Marcus stepped forward, his eyes flashing with anger. "I am," he growled.
The room was electric with tension as the four men faced off, each one determined to claim Sophia.
Sophia's heart raced with fear and excitement. What was going to happen next?
Ava smiled, her eyes glinting with amusement. "This is getting good," she purred.
And then, Reginald made his move...
