I still can't get over it. No one can.
Me , Zoey and Winnie are standing in the parking lot of Longview High.
We haven't talked to each other for like 10 minutes now. Probably because we know it's all our fault that Mr Maddox is in the emergency room right now. Who even thought of this prank?
Me and Zoey, maybe. But still we never meant for anyone to get hurt while doing this. Okay so maybe we could've done this prank with something less sharper but still!
Winnie looks so guilty. Zoey looks kind of....confused.... and hurt.....?
Me? Oh I have done tons of pranks that got me in trouble before so I know how to keep a normal, expressionless face. But the thing is: I never done anything so...like this.
My Dad 's Jeep Wrangler just arrived. I run to it without looking back to see Winnie or Zoey.

It's been like, almost two hours but it feels as if it's been two weeks. Or days.
I am tying my little sister, Aria's shiny black hair when I get a call from Principal Morris.
"Hello. Principal Morris, Principal of Longview High speaking. Is this Hannah Bailee's phone number?" Principal Morris asked. "Yes Principal Morris. It's me, Hannah." I said. "Alright. So I called to inform you that you need to come to school early tomorrow to attend a small meeting which is going to be held in my office. Got it? " she said. "Yes" I say quietly and cut the call.
Oh I am going to be in trouble tomorrow ain't I? I just hope Winnie and Zoey are also coming tomorrow. But I can't be too sure. So I pick up my phone and send Zoey and Winnie a message in our group chat.
Hannah Bailee: Did u guys also get a call from Principal Morris???
I put my phone back into my pocket and get up from my bed and walk downstairs to the kitchen where I meet my mom cooking her famous and favorite Chicken Fry Rolls. " How was school today?" she asks after she notices me leaning on a counter and drinking a glass of water. "Not good." I say after gulping it all down. "And why is that?" she asks raising her eyebrows. "Because today Mr Maddox got very badly hurt." I say without making eye contact with her. "Wait. What?!" she says looking horrified. I knew this would happen. "Mom please don't ask me so many questions. I am already traumatized. " I say looking tired. Mom nods and says "O yes, dear I am sorry. You could have some rest you know." I nod and say "Yea mom I'll try to do that after I come from Winnie 's house ok?" she sighs and tells me where her key is. I grab it rush out the door only to meet the cold air.
I get inside mom's SUV. I don't know where I am headed but one thing is for sure: I am not staying in the house, in my room, depressed. Because if there is anything I don't like to do, it is be depressed.
After two hours of driving,I arrive at Winnie's front steep. Her house is kind of like those big ones that you would see on tv. Not a mansion, exactly. I knock at the door. No answer. So I ring the doorbell and five seconds later, I see Wendy appear. She has blue eyes just like Winnie. Her hair is made up in a neat bun. It suits her.
She smiles at me and says "Hello. Winnie is upstairs. She looks kind of sick. Why tho?" I just bit my lip and say " Today Mr Maddox got very badly injured so... everyone is kind of, um, traumatized. You will know the full story soon. Everyone will." She nods.
