Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: Dream

Elara's POV

I suddenly woke up from a deep sleep inside a very beautiful room. For some reason, I felt different, as if longing and excitement filled my heart.

I stood up from the bed, amazed by the room's arrangement, though it seemed childish. The place looked like a princess's abode. As I looked around in wonder, the environment suddenly changed. Startled, I closed my eyes, and when I opened them, I was in a garden filled with flowers. The surroundings were dark, but there was a faint light.

As I turned around, a young girl passed by me, heading towards a flower. I followed her gaze until my eyes settled on a flower that seemed to soothe my soul, evoking indescribable feelings.

Girl: "You are such a beautiful flower, especially when you sparkle at night."

I looked at the girl she was stunning, even more beautiful than the flower, shining in the darkness like it. While I was mesmerized by her beauty, another woman arrived, looking like a goddess in her beauty, and approached the girl.

Woman: "Thank you for appreciating our plants, little princess. The flowers in our garden hold mysteries and powers beyond ordinary comprehension."

Girl: "I'm Ella, and this is my first visit to the garden."

As I listened to their conversation, a strange warmth and light enveloped our surroundings. It felt like an extraordinary force was wrapping around my heart.

Mom: Elara, wake up, you have school, are you still a child sleeping in this late?

As Elara suddenly woke up, she realized that everything was just a beautiful dream. The strange feeling from her dream still lingered in her mind.

Mom: Elara, what are you waiting for? Get up, you're going to be late!

Elara: Here I am, Mom, getting up now.

Mom: You should, you'll be late for your first day of school!

Elara: Mom, relax, it's still early, and the school is nearby.

Mom: Oh, you and your excuses, go and get ready!

As Mom left the room, Elara remembered her dream again. It felt magical, but she couldn't figure out what it was about. She decided to think about it another day and focused on getting ready.

I prepared my outfit, went to the bathroom to shower, shampooed, soaped, brushed my teeth, and followed my usual routine. After showering, I dressed in my prepared clothes, wearing a simple t-shirt and pants, with my wavy hair cascading down to my waist. I didn't bother styling it further and left my room to go to the living room to eat. After eating, I said goodbye to my mom before heading to school.

Elara: Mom, I'm going to school now.

Mom: Elara, wait, here's some extra money for you (handing over 500 pesos).

Elara: Mom, I don't need that.

Mom: Just keep it, you might need it for expenses.

Elara: Mom...

Mom: Alright, off you go, you'll be late, bye, love you.

Elara: Bye, Mom, love you (kisses her forehead).

As I walked to school, I felt like someone was watching me, so I looked back but didn't see anyone. I ignored it and continued walking until some people with unusual appearances blocked my path. Their hair and eyes had colors, and a masked man with green eyes approached me.

Masked Man: Elara, you're even more beautiful in person.

Elara: How do you know me? Who are you? Leave me alone, I'm going to school, there's no mask party here!

Girl 1: Hey, shut up!

Masked Man: Elara, would you join us in the future? (asks seriously)

Elara: (I just stared at him, captivated by his eyes) No, leave, you're so full of yourselves!

As I passed by the man, the girls attacked me, so I shielded myself in surprise until I saw a light and when I opened my eyes, the masked people were gone...

To be continued...
