It's been a week since the encounter with the shapeshifter. Louie and Lee are on the move again but this time they have a different goal in mind, they are no longer just gonna deliver the soul, they will hunt the Devil and find out who's been helping him. They have acquired a different ride aswell since their Mini Van broke down suddenly, they now ride a black 2005 Toyota Mark X.
They both temporarily reside at a motel in a small town called 'Brooks Garden' which looks like your average small town something you'd see out of a comic book. The motel which Louie and Lee are staying at looks like your average motel room, their motel room has two separate bed, Louie and Lee are sat on both their respective beds.
Lee is in the same suit which he wore when he encountered the shapeshifter, he now doesn't have the briefcase cuffed to his wrist and has it sat next to him, the encounter with the shapeshifter definitely had an effect on him, he sits there quietly, reading the local news paper of the town with a frown like he's looking for something, there is a reason why they are here. Louie is also in his same red suit, he's minding his own business and cleaning the pipes of his pistol, he enjoys small 'chores' and takes his time with them, it's not every day that he gets to enjoy the little things in life judging by what he is. Lee smirks as he have found something important on the news paper, he chuckles and mutters to himself, amused "not so sneaky, you son of a bitch"
Louie heard that and glances up at Lee, looking confused, he asks in a curious tone "what?"
Lee hands over the local news paper to Louie who sets his gun aside and takes the news paper still confused, Lee says "under the weather report" he points out confidently. Louie reads under the weather report and repeats it "Britney Wellings caught stealing eggplants from the local market, She said that she was only taking them for 'research' and had nothing to do with sex" Louie looks at Lee with a confused look and says "what the fuck?"
Lee smirks and says "eggplants was the go to thing for rituals back in the 1900s, remember they used it to communicate with the Devil?"
Louie sighs and says in a calm tone "first of all, it wasn't used as an ritual but rather a offering or a gift, second of all, it didn't fucking work, third of all, this women is definitely shoving it in her ass" the last one came off a bit aggressive. Lee looks at Louie with a confused looked in his eyes, he Says "but she said it wasn't for any sexual reason"
Louie upon hearing that gives Lee a look like 'seriously?', it's ridiculous how clueless Lee is, he asks in a curious tone "Lee, you know humans lie, right?"
Lee is caught off guard by his question and says "yes."
Louie nods trying to understand Lee's mind and asks "and you know that she can lie aswell?" Louie is very curious to hear the answer. Lee realizes what Louie is saying and is a bit embarrassed, he sighs and says "fuck sake."
Louie notices Lee's embarrassment and says "it's alright, we'll find something else, in a town like this there is bound to be a sinner with a connection to the world after."
Suddenly Louie and Lee both feel shivers down their spine, they felt something happen but don't know what, their expression turn serious. Louie picks up his gun, Lee takes out a pistol from under his pillow, it's his own and is similar to Louie's. they both stand up and walk up to the doorway where they are getting the weird feeling the most, they both Stand infront of the doorway and cock their guns. Louie grabs the doorknob and nods to Lee, just as he is about to twist the doorknob and open the door, a letter slides from under the door, it catches both Louie and Lee off guard. They both exchange a confused look upon seeing the letter...
It's late Mid Night, Louie and Lee drive threw the town of 'Brooks Garden' in their Toyota, Louie is the one driving and Lee in the passenger seat with the briefcase in the backseat, Lee is reading the letter which was slid under their doorway an hour ago. Lee asks, confused "what the fuck does this mean?"
Louie shrugs, as confused as Lee and says "I don't know, but it seems like someone got a hint that angels were in the Town."
Lee scoffs and says, annoyed "probably a fucking demon again. Those assholes just can't leave us alone."
Louie chuckles and says "we are those sons of bitches natural born enemies, stronger and better but still their so called 'rivals' according to them."
Lee smirks and says in a smug tone "rivals my ass. We kicked their ass in a fucking 2 v 20 or 30." as big of a massacre it was, demon life don't matter to them.
Louie laughs and says "there is a reason why an angel rules over them"
Lee chuckles and replies in a sarcastic tone "a fucking fallen angel."...
The Toyota Mark X pulls over at the gates of a mansion which is on a private land a bit further from the itself town. Louie and Lee look at the mansion, they are surprised becuase this was not what they were expecting. Lee gets out of the car first, leaving the briefcase in the backseat. Louie says in a panicking tone "wait, wait." he gets out of the car and says "where the fuck are you going?"
Lee turns to Louie and replies "I'm going inside, What do you mean?" Lee says it like it's an obvious thing. Louie, confused, they didn't plan for this, he says "we'll comeback to this in the morning, we don't know what to expect from here. Heck, We didn't even know what we were looking for, how do you know what you are looking for is in there?"
Lee gets Louie's point and knows it's dumb to just head in blind, he says hesitantly "we were invited."
Louie scoffs, annoyed and says "motherfucker, it could've been an invite to an orgy, for all we know."
Lee, didn't think of that, thoughts flow threw his mind of 'what if it actually was an orgy party and a fucking angel was about to go in and join them', 'but what if there was something else there, something of use' 'Devil worshipers had alot of orgy parties, what if this was one of them?', he makes up his mind and gulps, hesitant he says in a not so confident tone "fuck it. I'm going in"
Louie is shocked upon hearing that and says in his quick, panicking tone "what the fuck?! This was definitely an orgy invite, Lee!" he hurries up and catches up to Lee, he walks besides him. Lee regretting his decisions, but knows if he's gonna find the Devil then he'll have to visit his domain.
Louie stands infront of Lee and blocks his way making Lee stop in his tracks. Louie looks Lee dead in the eyes with a serious look and says "don't. Trust me, don't. These parties are no joke."
Lee becomes more reluctant to go in like he 'wasn't' before, he hasn't seen Louie look so pent up in his life, he says in a hesitant tone "hey man, why the fuck are you scaring me?"
Louie sighs, still looking Lee in the eyes, he says "I'm not trying to scare you, but these horny motherfuckers would even make a succubus call for time out." Louie is serious when he says that. Lee gulps, nervous, he says "I'm still going in."
Louie sighs in frustration, he tried to warn Lee but failed. Lee walks around Louie and stands infront of the mansion's big gates which open automatically as Lee walks infront of them. Lee is creeped out by this and he has fought demons before, humans somehow made him more uncomfortable than any demon or supernatural beings He's encountered before. Louie walks forward and stands besides Lee, he really doesn't wanna go in there, he says in a nervous tone "oh fuck it."
They both exchange a nervous and uncomfortable look and then walk in...
The inside of the mansion is no surprise massive, the interior is painted gold, nudist art everywhere, it looks like what you would expect from a horny milionare who host orgy parties.
A 70 year old Butler walks over to the doorway of the mansion with a fancy steel tray used for plates, he is well dressed and is wearing round glasses, he reaches the doorway after few seconds of walking and opens the massive doors to greet the guests Louie and Lee who are standing at the doorway, nervous and a bit scared. The Butler smiles and in a cliche British accent he asks "welcome, your invite?"
Louie and Lee stand there clueless for a few seconds then remember the letter. Lee takes out the letter from his back pocket and hands it to the Butler who quickly takes it upon seeing it. The Butler says in a calm tone "thank you and... No guns." the Butler holds the tray up infornt of them.
Louie and Lee look at eachother thinking 'it's not late to turn back', reluctantly they nod at the Butler and take out their pistols then put them on the tray. The Butler smiles at them again and says "thank you for your understanding, gentlemen. Follow me." the Butler begins to walk off to a long hallway on his left. Louie and Lee follow the Butler, cautious.
The Butler walks down the hallway for a little while, following behind him Louie and Lee. Lee looks around the hallway and is weirded out by the explicit paintings on the walls, he begins to wonder if the owners are sex addicts. Louie keeps looking straight ahead, he doesn't even wanna acknowledge the paintings and keeps walking forward. The Butler stops at a doorway and moves aside next to the doorway. Louie and Lee stop infront of the doorway. Lee points at the door and nervously clears his throat, mumbles to the Butler, trying to say something "um. This... Ah..." he mutter out the words and turns to Louie then gestures him to go first. Louie shakes his head and refuses, he is not dumb enough to go in there first, he whispers to Lee "fuck no. Your idea."
Lee looks at Louie with a hopeless expression and turns to the doorway, he gulps and slowly opens the doorway, fully excepting to be traumatized, he sees the room is massive, rich people in groups are having a chat, it's a normal boring old rich party and Lee doesn't mind it, he sighs of relief that no one is naked, he whisper to himself "oh thank God."
Louie reluctantly peaks and to his surprise it's a normal party, he also sighs of relief and then chuckles, he says in now relaxed tone "lucky, motherfucker."
Lee nods and turns to Louie with a genuinely happy smile, he says "no fucking, literally."
Louie nods knowing they dodged a huge bullet. The Butler looks at them, confused and says "you gentlemen alright?"
They both clear their throats then better their posture and behavior. Lee says in a confident tone "yeah, yeah."
Louie says in his quick tone "motherfucking, a, okay."
They both enter the room which is very fancy with two table full of food and dessert, maids serving champagne, the rich people doing their fake laugh at jokes which aren't even funny. It's seems off, that there are quite alot of people in the room, it's a party but there are too many rich people here judging by how small the town is, only few rich families resides around the town but there are way too many people for it to be just that few families. Louie and Lee notice the large amount of people, Lee whispers to Louie in a cautious tone "there are too many people here."
"agreed. Something is going on." replies Louie in a Serious tone. Lee notices the jewelry on the men and women, it's looks to have satanic symbols on it, he notices the overall color theme is red, he says in a calm tone "this is weird, it doesn't seem like a normal party."
Louie realizes what's going on and cautiously looks around, his expression serious, he says "I may have a idea."
Lee turns to Louie and says in a curious tone "what?"
Louie sighs and turns to Lee, he whispers "i think it's a Satanist gathering."
Lee realizes it aswell, he whispers "Why would they invite us then, is it a trap?"
Louie is about to say something but remains quiet as a lady pass by them, he steps closer to make sure no one hears them, he whispers "I don't know but I think whoever sent us the invite, knew what they were doing. They could be anywhere."
They both begin to grown paranoid as they look around, it could be anyone here, whoever invited them is probably looking at them right now, the problem is there are too many people here to tell who.
The lights go dim, Louie and Lee reach for their gun holder but realize they gave their guns away, it was foolish of them now they think about it. The group of rich people move out of the middle and create a triangle, a spotlight shines on the middle of the triangle, two young maids walk in middle of the triangle, the first Maid has a table and sets it in the middle elegantly, she walks away as the second Maid walks in with a basket of something, it is covered by a piece of cloth, she sets the basket on the table in the middle of the triangle and then walks away too. Louie and Lee look curiously, still cautious of their surroundings.
A man with a goat mask on and a dark red suit with a black symbol of a goat's head on his upper left pocket, he walks in the middle of the triangle and stands behind the table with the basket, he says "ladies and gentlemen. I'm your host, Douglas Readymen." his voice sounds young. Louie and Lee curiously observe from far. Douglas lifts the piece of cloth off the basket to reveal eggplants, he throws the cloth away. Louie and Lee are shocked to see this and get an idea of what's happening. Douglas removes his mask to reveal he's only a 19 year old, he sets the goat mask on the floor, he says proudly "a tradition which our family have maintained for centuries, poor, rich, whatever, we maintained our loyalty to Satan."
Louie frowns, confused and mumbles to himself "what the fuck."
"you said it didn't work?" asks Lee who keeps his eyes fixed on Douglas.
Louie not blinking, also keeping his focus on Douglas and says "it doesn't... I don't think so, atleast."
Lee turns to Louie with a annoyed expression and says in a agressive tone "think? What you mean think?! For How fucking long have you been doing this shit and you think?!"
Louie looks at Lee and says in a angry tone "I don't know fucking understand aswell!"
Few of the other guests glance at Louie and Lee for a second. Louie and Lee notice that they aren't being quiet and it's leading to eyes being laid on them, they move further away from the crowd. Douglas says with a tone of a manisc "our loyalty have paid off, look at us. Will the greedy God do the same? I think not."
Louie whispers to Lee, trying to be calm "we need to get out of here."
Lee sighs and shakes his head in disagreement, he whispers "no."
Louie frowns, he sighs and clicks his tongue in frustration, he doesn't think it's a good idea, he says tries to reason with him "listen, we don't know what to expect, things can get out of hands, try to listen for once." the last few words came out more aggressive than he intended. Lee remains quiet, he is not moving. Louie sigh, annoyed, he tries to think of a reason to convince Lee but gives up, he whispers in a aggressive tone "motherfucker. You wanna stay here, then let's stay here."
They both turn to look at Douglas who gets handed a Japanese knife from the first Maid. Douglas with a creepy smile, he closes his eyes, he yells "please, accept out our humble gift to you" directed to the Devil, he slices the palm of his hand with the Japanese knife and his blood drips on the eggplant, he smiles threw the pain. few seconds pass and nothing happens, the eggplants sit there untouched.
Douglas opens his eyes, confused, he doesn't understand why the gift wasn't accepted. The guests begin mumbling to eachother. Louie and Lee curiously look, they feel something might happen. A old Maid different from the previous ones walks over to Douglas and whispers something to him, his eyes widen in shock, he begins to grow angry. As the old Maid walked in, both Louie and Lee feel the same shivering sensation which they felt at the motel, they glance at eachother, no doubt it was her that invited them. The old Maid walks off and dissappears into the crowd. Louie and Lee are about to follow her then stop dead in their track as they hear Douglas says "apparently, we have been joined by special guests tonight and it is becuase of them that Satan is now angry with us."
Louie and Lee realize the situation they are in and hurry to the food table, they try to look for anything to use as a weapon, Lee grabs a steel tray, Louie picks up fork. They both turn to face Douglas who is now looking at them dead straight with a creepy grin across his face, full of rage. Douglas says agressively and points towards Louie and Lee "ladies and gentlemen, we are here joined by the soldiers of God, the protector of heaven, one of the most strongest beings in the existence, I present to you angels of heaven."
The guests gasp and being mumbling to eachother, they turn to look at Louie and Lee. Their cover is blown.
