Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Fresh

"I'm screwed!" our mc sighed, the weight of his new reality pressing down on him. The familiar world he knew was gone, replaced by the mystical, perilous lands of a xianxia realm.

He found himself as an outer disciple of the Grim Dawn Sect, a lowly position with little standing and even less talent in the ways of the Dao.

The vast, towering mountains and ancient, imposing structures of the sect loomed around him, a constant reminder of his insignificance.

Panic began to set in as he assessed his situation. "System? Are you there?" he called out, his voice tinged with desperation.

In countless stories, the system was the lifeline, the cheat that could turn a nobody into a legend. But as the seconds ticked by with no response, his heart sank further into despair.

Just as he was about to give up hope, a sudden, mechanical sound rang in his ears.

"Ding!"

A translucent screen flickered into existence before his eyes.

"Congratulations, Host! You have been granted omnipotence. Please enjoy your life from now on."

The words were like a lifeline thrown to a drowning man. Relief and confusion battled for dominance in his mind as the screen disappeared as abruptly as it had appeared.

He blinked, stunned, trying to process what had just happened. Omnipotence? The concept was as intoxicating as it was terrifying.

"Wait, System!" he called out, but there was no answer. He reached out with his thoughts, tried to will the system back into existence, but it was gone, leaving him alone once more. Or so he thought.

Before he could dwell on the system's disappearance, a rush of pure, unbridled power coursed through his veins, like a dam breaking within him.

His body trembled, his senses heightened to an almost painful degree as an unimaginable force surged through every fiber of his being.

It was as if the very essence of the universe was pouring into him, rewriting his existence at a fundamental level.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!" he screamed, unable to contain the primal energy that flooded his system.

His mind was bombarded with a torrent of knowledge, countless immortal techniques and ancient secrets cramming themselves into his consciousness.

Each technique was more profound, more devastating than the last, a lifetime of cultivation and mastery compressed into a single, agonizing moment.

He fell to his knees, clutching his head as the overwhelming influx of power threatened to tear him apart. Yet, amidst the chaos, a strange clarity began to emerge.

The techniques that once seemed beyond comprehension started to make sense, as if they had always been a part of him. He could feel the Dao itself bending to his will, reality warping at his command.

The realization hit him like a bolt of lightning—he truly was omnipotent. The power he now possessed was limitless, a wellspring of potential that defied the very laws of the world he had found himself in.

But with this newfound strength came an unsettling thought: What was he supposed to do now?

Back on earth, he was an ordinary office worker who worked 100 hours a week just in order to survive in the rat race.

He died a virgin and probably due to work exhaustion and now that he was omnipotent, he was loss for a second or two on what he should do on his life from now on.

"Hmm... I suppose this is a good problem to have," our now omnipotent mc mused, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

The overwhelming power coursing through him was more than he had ever imagined, and with it came a sense of relief. "The only consolation in the situation I'm in," he added, his voice laced with irony.

Stranded in a world of immortal cultivators, where the weak were crushed and the strong ruled, this newfound strength was both a blessing and a curse. But it was better than being powerless.

He took a deep breath, the weight of his situation settling in. Everything had changed in an instant, and while the prospect of omnipotence was exhilarating, it was also daunting.

What was he supposed to do with all this power? The future was a vast, uncertain landscape, and for the first time, he understood that having everything at his fingertips didn't necessarily make things easier. If anything, it made the decisions ahead even more critical.

"One day at a time," he decided, nodding to himself. There was no rush. He had all the time in the world now—more than anyone else in this realm. And perhaps that was his true advantage.

While others would scramble for power, desperate to ascend to the next level, he could take things slowly, enjoy the journey without the constant pressure of survival.

With a thought, he extended his divine sense outward, letting it spread across the vast expanse of the cosmos. In a single breath, he found Earth.

The sight of the familiar blue planet stirred a complex mix of emotions within him. Nostalgia, a hint of melancholy, but also a surprising sense of detachment.

It was the world he had once called home, filled with the people, places, and experiences that had shaped him.

But now, it felt distant, almost insignificant in comparison to the boundless possibilities before him.

He lingered on Earth for a moment, exploring it with his mind's eye. He saw the cities bustling with life, the oceans rolling with waves, the forests teeming with creatures.

It was all as he remembered, yet it felt like a chapter of his life that had already closed. There was no love in his heart to return, not now.

He had been given a new life, a new destiny, and the allure of the xianxia realm, with its mysteries, dangers, and untold power, was too enticing to abandon.

He was also an orphan so he really had no family to return to.

"Maybe one day," he murmured to himself, the thought of returning to Earth no longer a pressing concern.

Perhaps when he had seen all there was to see in this realm, when the thrill of cultivation and exploration had faded, he would consider going back.

But that day was far off, and until then, this world had so much more to offer.

For now, he would immerse himself in this new reality, testing the limits of his power, uncovering the secrets of the Dao, and forging his own path.

The journey was just beginning, and for the first time since his transmigration, he felt a sense of purpose, a clear direction in the chaos of his existence.
