I closed my eyes tight and saw thw world my children lived in. I was Alyssa's mom
In the spirit realm.
I floated in the spirit domain, a land of perpetual gloom and whispering. Everything around me seemed foggy and moving, as though the lines separating dreams from reality were erasing. Full of old echoes and far-off memories, it was a lovely, sad space. But now the rising gloom hovering over everything I once loved eclipsed the beauty.
