Thick, the kind of tension in the air that caused my fur to stand on end even if I was still human form. The king's wrath was like a hurricane, black and erratic, ready to swallow anything in its path.
From my secret vantage point in the great hall, I observed King Dominic's fists clenching and unclenching at his sides, his face contorted in a mix of wrath and irritation.
